    Will 07-up rear z71 springs work on my 2001??

    I put some 07+ z springs on my 02, I too tow, occasionally and roughly 6k lbs. Very slight rear drop due to tongue weight. It's not enough that I would add air springs too. Actually loaded down it handles much better than empty. Hth.

    yellowish film in oil fill tube??

    :wtf2: So there is some yellowish film in the tube that goes to the top of the valve cover and also in the back side of the cap too? Any thoughts as to what it is/whats causing it? Any problems it could cause? My first thought is antifreeze but not sure.

    rear diff cracked

    It says 3.73 So I am pretty sure i got the right diff cover. Just need to open it up to see what broke. I am scerred of what it could be.

    It does have the factory limited slip. Where on the axle is the tag for gear ratio and what size the gear is, ie 8.25or 9..... It is the 10 bolt.

    So I noticed a puddle and started looking, my rear diff has a small hole. It looks like something from inside has hit it. I don't have any noise from the diff. What could have broke and caused the cover to crack? Thanks in advance. Just want to get an idea before I open the cover.

    If you hae a 02 or older you will need to follow the picture I asked about yesterday but reverse the diodes. I got mine working finally last night.

    I ordered mine from ebay too. I actually got the ones for the 07+ even though mine is a 02. No issues with fitment.

    I have an 02 and the backside of where the bulbs are is just a hole. I can see the bulb through the backside. Any more info of the older thread?

    I would think tensioner. I have a 02 and it has two tensioners. If you can have someone crank it while you listen to isolate the noise.

    I have/had a 02 lt and changed out the rear springs for z71 springs and put in the bilstein hd shocks. I tow pretty often. I tow a 14ft tandem axle trailer and a jeep grand Cherokee on that. Roughly 6k. And have noticed a significant difference in how it sat before/stock and now. Handles...

    decent price for work done on heads

    What would be a decent price for someone to work over some 862 heads? Some light porting and milling the head a little to straighten everything back up. Checking the valves checked too. TIA.

    I think thats the issue cause i'm getting alternator whine and a weird chirp out of the speakers when the amp powers down. What kind of relay? Could the relay help too for like three amps?
