    Replacing BLOSE speakers

You say: at higher volumes, as you go up in volume, the speakers start to roll and sound horrendous. You can thank the underpowered and imo poorly wired Bose system for this - especially if you have added an aftermarket HU. I will tell you what I did just to spruce up my tunes. I honestly...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Lol I know what you mean! I knew it was off and I calibrated it at 60-65. I love having scangsuge 2, used one on several vehicles. I may adjust/calibrate my actual speedo but for now I know I'm 4 - 5 mph difference on my speedo. Speedo says 60mph im actually doing nearly 65mph. I look at my...

    Decisions decisions...

Yukon - I like the front end way better:) J/K I would go with the SLT Yukon - 100k miles is nothing - I maybe biased but the GMC's usually have a few more bells n whistles. I just like the Yukons

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Did nothing to mine today except dial in my correct speed on my Scangauge with my 33" tires (+7% if anyone is curious on Speed adjustment in advanced settings) but helped my buddy on his 05 Yukon - He kept having soaked front passenger floorboard and we easily found the culprit, it was a...

    Front and Rear Diffs

Best recommendation I can make when doing diffs, if you pull covers, replace gasket with LUBE LOCKER brand gasket - Simply the best gasket Ive ever used. I think the rear diff takes near 3.5 bottles of the Mobil 1 75/90 - can't remember the front amount - super easy job impossible to screw up...

    Wet Passenger Carpet

Funny my neighbors yukon (2005) just did this and he found the culprit this morning, water (rain) goes through wiper cowl down through the fresh air intake (Where the blower motor goes) Looking up where the blower motor goes (Fresh air intake) Maybe this is your culprit

    Rear sub + headunit upgrade

My buddy did an aftermarket 8" back there, sorry to say I wasn't impressed, I also did not want to give up cargo space - I spent the $$ and bought the Q-logic under the rear seat box, threw in a New Old Stock 10" Orion Extreme and man its amazing, it hits so nice at all volumes, threw a RF mono...

I got a late start on this today but I got it in - the install is very easy and straight forward. Didn't have a chance to get but 1 quick pic Nice kit, Im going to paint the brackets, other than that it did require to drill 1 hole. All in all simple job. I did test drive it but not too...

Installing a steering damper this week.

You may want to look at the oem Ford brackets. I think this is a direct fit with the Ford trucks set up. Prob others. At least with this part # Bilstein 24-158848 Monotube Steering Damper, Bilstein makes several. Just searched Amazon.

Installing a steering damper this week.

Cool, Ive always run Bilstein...always! I love their stuff, got 5100's on the Yukon. I thought about calling bilstein and seeing if they had just a damper when I was researching this steering damper mod, if they have one I may get one and use it. Also with KYB... maybe it was the white damper...
