    Get a Superchips Flashpaq f5 tuner. Good tunes and inexpensive. Will enable you to deactivate afm. ~the Captain

    Intakes on these newer 5.3's are fine. My recommendation to improve flow, sound, and power is a MIT tube. I did that and bought a Superchips flashpaq f5 tuner. What a huge difference!! Dont waste money on a CAI. ~the Captain

    I have the MIT, factory filter. It woke up the responsiveness and rumble. I tjen added a Superchips flashpaq tune to it, and it really rolls now...

    Engine and air intake on the 16's is identical to the 15''. I love my Airaid MIT. Gave me 1-2 mpg's and more power. Sound is a little louder if you push the peddle, otherwise quiet. I then installed Superchips flashpaq F5. Quite a difference. Picked up another 1.5 mpg. Great power, no more v4...

    Do yourself a favor...get a Airaid MIT or Airaid Jr. ..much cheaper, uses stock airbox, and was proven to outperform other full CAI's.

    Anyway...I ordered an Airaid MIT and Superchips flashpaq f5 2845 for the Tahoe. I was torn between the Bullydog, but really didnt want to install the display and clutter dash. Fingers crossed
