    I did switch to yellow when we did the dod delete but I had read that 2011 Tahoe the coolant color was the new style and the yellow was any make any model

    Water pump was already replaced when I had the dod delete also I notice the top hose was stiff and bottom was not wouldn’t that mean the radiator is bad has 196k on it

    I just replaced the thermostat again so I guess the pump is all that’s left was worried my head gasket was leaking because I just did the dod delet 8 months ago

    Is the cap leaking like that a symptom of the rad fluid dropping when I rev the gas

    I was thinking it was the cap not holding pressure since the fluid drops with it on or off and it seems to be letting radiator vapors come out of it when it’s hot but this danm thing is only 6 months old to not sure how often they fail

    So took the cap off and rev it today got some bubbles out but when I mash the gas the rad fluid in the expansion tank drops down then come back up even if I put the cap back on not sure why

    Yes water pump was new it’s duralast from autozone

    No it just started happening I replaced all those parts because the engine was squeaking but ended up being the cam needed replaced from that stupid afm so I did the full delete everything g has been fine for the last 8 months

    Tensioner is tight and I’ve topped it off a couple times and the radiator I would think is clogged I kee this thing clean

    I have done both I’m thinking honestly I may be over spinning the water pump and causing the belt to slip since I have replaced everything on the front of the motor

    I have a 2011 Tahoe LS with 195k miles on it and it has a new water pump, thermostat, expansion tank, and replaced hoses at firewall. The issue I’m having is that when I pass someone at high rpms, the engine starts to overheat. I have to pull over, shut the engine off, and wait a few minutes...

    I think I may just end up ordering these I like how bright they are. I went with the square ones on my Tahoe because they put out 2k lumens each and was only 40bucks.

    Pretty much harness just needed ground and attached to positive on battery then has a positive and negative lead for the fog lights

    I got the lights from autozone and the blazer wiring harness and put a switch in the cab used the bracket they came with and bolt it to a piece of metal strut that had holes pre drilled in it from Home Depot to hold them in,there bright as hell without the yellow lens I get flipped off lmfao

    also it makes no noise when cold should I use thicker oil I’m using 5 quarts mobile synthetic with one quart of Lucas high mileage 5w30 and if so what weight
