I'm covering mine up with Husky mats as well, but I hate having to do that. Imagine being inside a Mercedes GL or a Range Rover (or really any other luxury SUV for that matter) -- do you think the carpet would be just "floating around" back there? Hell no. It would be tacked down and solid as...
I swapped my fogs, license plate and reverse bulbs with VLEDS and high beams with 4k Osram bulbs from TRS. Happy with everything except the fogs and the high beams. They are just not that bright; good color though. I'm coming from a BMW X5 with some excellent lighting.
Can someone please explain how to get the fogs in and tailights removed to install the reverse lights? I'm stumped.

Ok, got reverse lights installed and one high beam but have no clue how to get the fogs and...
My experience with these is that they will in fact guard brush, but they will also crumple and do more damage in a collision than without. If I were an elk hunting hide then maybe.
Whatever pleasure you get with having a "look-alike" Denali will be CRUSHED when the first person who knows better calls you out on it and makes you feel like a poser.
Not really. They both are pretty close as far as GVWR. Get your facts straight before you spout off on a forum.
I've also got an '08 Yukon SLT sitting beside the X5, so I know what I'm talking about.
Honestly, what else is there this size or near it with this many features for $73k? Load out a GL similarly and you're $10-12k higher, and I don't want to own one of those past 50k miles anyway.
I liked the LR4 ok before it lost the V8. Already in an X5 -- too small.
??
I'm coming from an X5 with the sweetest 8-speed you could ask for, so I'm going to wait to get one in the Denali. Do I think it will be near as good as the BMW's? I doubt it. But I'm willing to take the chance that it will be better than the 6-speed, because I can't imagine it would be worse...
FWIW, I just put a delay on my order until I can get the 8-speed. Coming from an X5 with 8-speed and test driving fairly laggy 6-sp Denali (liked it enough to place an order), I think the 8 will be a big positive.
One fairly large consideration for this move is resale. I have a feeling the...
I hate hearing about these quirks with a $73k vehicle on order. I hope GMC has some of this stuff sorted out by the time they build mine, but I doubt it. My X5 has quirks though, so...
