Can someone please explain how to get the fogs in and tailights removed to install the reverse lights? I'm stumped.

Ok, got reverse lights installed and one high beam but have no clue how to get the fogs and the passenger side high beam done. Looks like I need to remove the air box to install the other high beam, but my hands can't seem to fit in the space to change the fogs.

Ok, got reverse lights installed and one high beam but have no clue how to get the fogs and the passenger side high beam done. Looks like I need to remove the air box to install the other high beam, but my hands can't seem to fit in the space to change the fogs.

I did my fog lights in 10 minutes last night. I am 270# and 6'2" with big hands but had no problem. Flashlight in my mouth. Squeezed under front bumper/fascia on my back. Squeeze two white tab (top & bottom) to remove the light/wire unit from the housing. Then able to pull the light/wire out for better visualization. Then remove black wire harness from back of light.

On re-install, I found it easier to install the lamp into the housing first. One side of light has single fin/ridge. Other side of light has double fin/ridge. Make sure to line them up properly in the housing. Then, align black wire housing and press into light.

I installed the license plate, reverse and fog lights last night.

I noticed the same problem with the passenger high-beam. I haven't tried to tackle that yet, but looks like some dismantling required.

You just remove the cable to the MAF loosen the hose clamp and pull up on the air box. It is held in by rubber grommets. It only takes 5 minutes to remove.

Thank you for this thread!

I bought them from VLEDS.com and they took about 5 mintues to install. I just did as others have said. Slide under the middle of the front, right under the emblem where the lower air dam is the highest. You can look over to each side and see the wire sticking out of the fog lamp housiing. There was one tab on top of the black wire harness, just push that down and it came right off. Then you can see the white plastic backing of the bulb sticking out, there was a tab on the top and bottom, you squeeze them and they come right out. I put the new bulbs in squeezing the tabs and they popped in once in place, then did the wires. The whole thing took five minutes, ten at most because I stopped to take the picture. They look great, very satisfied!

The license plate bulbs are on backorder but look forward to them too. Now i need to look into installing some HIDs.

The old halogen bulb is on the drivers side.

Thanks for the post and pictures. Was surprised this wasn't done from factory. This is a must do mod!

Just checked out the site. Has anyone gone up to the 6k bulb? 6k License plate bulbs are not on back order at the moment.

6k will have a more blue look. Factory HID bulbs are typically 4300K. If you google you can see plenty of pictures of what the 6k LEDs look like. If you like the look then go for it.

Is there any difference from the 2015 to 2015i Yukons? I'm about to order but want to make sure I get all the right bulbs (fogs, plate, reverse)
