The Borla cat back showed up on Friday and I got it all installed Monday mornin. I'm diggin the look of the twins. I'm not too excited about the chrome on the tips that it came with. I'll eventually swap them out with some black tips. Which I think will make it louder too because the stock tips...
Hey guys, Ive been lookin into different front bumper ideas.
At first I looked into into Iron Bull offroad bumpers but i think they're just a little too bulky for my setup.
So I started lookin at Z71 bumpers and noticed they looked a little shorter then my SLT bumper. Mine just gives me no...
Thanks man I'm gettin anxious. I'll buy and install once I ge my tax return money. I'd say within the month! I'll make sure to post up some clips when it's all done.
That Borla sound clip didn't sound bad at all IMO. I want it to be pretty mellow at idle and a nice deep growl when you give it a little gas. I've listened to so many sound clips on YouTube over the past month everything's starting to sound similar.
It's hard to judge an exhaust over YouTube I...
Yeah I do, here's the link

Now your makin me think its gonna be too quiet.
California blows as far as street legal laws go..
Yeah I'll make sure to post some sound clips. The borla shouldn't be too quiet. Plus I moved into the city so I don't need it as loud as I used to. Should be perfect for what I'm lookin for. Eventually I'll get some headers :D
I wish I knew more exhaust guys out here in California. The guy...
Change of plans! saved up enough money and I'm goin with a Borla catback 3" in and dual 2 1/4" out. I'm pumped up. That tax return money can't get here quick enough!!
Thanks for the input guys! I've narrowed it down Flowmaster. Now I just need to figure out if I'm goin the 40 or 50 series.
Any opinions on either of em?
Also I'm gonna email Justin from bb performance once I get it installed, but before I do, I was wondering if any of you guys know if...
I wish i could throw on a magnaflow, take it off, then put on a flowmaster and see which one I like better. Everyone is so evenly split between the two. I used to have a 3.5" flowmaster for a '94 F250 that thing sounded so damn good. But it also had headers and high flow cats. I just don't want...
Hell yeah buddy I'm from Idaho redneck as hell and I think nothin looks better than two pipes runnin out the rear! thanks for the input I'm gonna browse around on that site!
So I've got a 2003 Yukon 5.3L 4x4
I bought a bb AutoCal tune like a year ago and still haven't installed it cause I couldn't figure it out so I figured I'm gonna finish doin all my mods, then head down to San Diego and have Justin dial me in.
So far I've got my K&N CAI installed and now I...
It's a Supreme Suspension Leveling kit off of ebay which includes 2" rear spacers, and 3" torsion keys. I only cranked the front up 2.5" to save my CV's. and Billstiens 5100's on all four corners.
I was told the same things when getting the spacers. I've tightened them once. the shop says every 2-3 months for the first year. then it's like an annual thing. but as far as stability goes, I've ran over big holes, speed bumps, and curbs pretty hard and they're holdin up just fine!
My only...
Here's the tank with new 2 inch billet wheel spacers, HD electric/heated mirrors, Denalli headlights, and fully demolded! The only thing left is getting the chrome color matched. Most of the offers I got were around $1000. So probably won't be getting it done to soon. let me know what you...
Just got my AutoCal tuner. I followed the instructions and downloaded the necessary programs. However, when I plug in my tuner, on the Black Bear website it says just to plug in in, scroll to "Record Data". But when I press OK on Record Data, it just says "Options Missing"
Did I miss a step...
Thanks guys. Personally I think I went with the offset that suited what I wanted. You can always go wider but if I would have gotten the -12 then there's no going less wide from that point. Personally as long as I'm getting a quality part, I don't think I'll have any problems.
I ended up...
alright well I'm thinkin 2 inches might be a little overkill.
Does anyone know what the biggest I can go with a flat plate spacer.
I think I've read somewhere on here that a 1" spacer won't give you enough room on your studs to put your lugs back on.
If I go with somethin like a 5/8's...
they only offer those rims in +18 or -12. but I saw another yukon with the -12 and thought they might stick out to much.
So you think the 2 inch will be too much??

I just took a measuring tape and scoped...
I recently updated to KMC XD Monsters 18x9 with a +18 offset. They sit just nearly flush with my Yukon.
I want them to stick out a little more. Would wheel spacers be a good option?
I've still got plenty of room for clearance... probably should have gone a little bigger tire.
I found these...
