I did mine by hand only, and got most of it away. Sooner or later this week I'm just gonna get it detailed and have em buff the rest of it away. It's not that not bad at all tho.
I took my drivers side moldings today, took me like 2 hours to get all that double sided tape off. And the irony...
I got 285/75/18's put on my yukon a couple days ago.
I've got the same set up, 3 inch in the front and 2 inch in the rear.
They fit perfect without any trimming.
IMO I think next time i'm gonna go to a 295 for a liitle more beef.
I'd say go for it if your not afraid to do some minor...
I already took the yukon and gmc badges off, but now I want to take the other big door molding off.
Do I just use the same method with a heat gun and goo off?
I took all the yukon and gmc moldings off. I just didn't want to commit to taking off the door molding as well, but I think now with the rims it would look better off.
Whats your guys opinion on getting the silvarado mirrors, I think they look really good on lifted yukons and tahoes, but don't...
I've been wanting to color match the bumper and the grill molding. How much do you think that would run me? Right now I'm waiting on my new headlights.
They should be here tomorrow
Damn that looks good!!
but since I'm not gonna be runnin such a wide tire, I'm gonna stick with +18.
How much trimming did you have to do?
and if I wanted to get an extra inch sticking out could I do wheel spacers and have the 285/65/18's still clear. Haven't read much on wheel spacers...
Alright so just dropped the yukon off at a buddies shop to throw on keys, spacers, and billsteins.
Back to the question on offset, I've decided to go with the KMC XD Monsters 18x9 and they offer 3 different offsets: -12, +18, +35.
Which one would be best in order to stick out a little bit...
I'm pretty sure all this information apply's to all nbs tahoe models, but I'm not positive if it apply's to z71's.
I think I've changed my mind on running the 18x9 XDs. I want to have a wide
33 inch tire like a 295 or a 305 so I was thinking on switching to the 20x11 rim.
I don't want to...
thanks a bunch got it all ordered off shock warehouse for $334 which saved me like 70 buck from the ones I was gonna buy. I'll make sure to post up some picks when I'm sittin high.
I just got my interior decked out along with tint, TBS and CAI today in my 2003 Yukon and movin on to 2.5" keys and 2" spacers in the rear.
I already have my leveling kit and front 5100s in my ebay cart, however I remember reading on here somewhere that the rear Billsteins are for a dodge or...
So recently I just bought a 2003 Yukon SLT 4x4 and am wanting to throw 35's under it. I've read a lot of forums about putting different keys and spacers and such to fit 33's, However I want no rubbing on these 35's.
Wondering if anyone knows if I can run a 4 inch lift with 35 inch tires and...
