I tow a 6800# boat during the summer months with my '07 Denali. I burned up a transmission towing this same boat with a Hummer H2 last summer, although it had 37" tires, weighed more, and had the 6.0 motor. I'm not going to risk burning up another transmission. I'm curious what others...
No, you have to cut it. I did this last week. The resonator section is too large to slide over the axle to remove as 1 full piece. Just cut after the hangers benind the muffler and it all comes out. If you ever decide to reinstall, a muffler shop an weld it back and it will be hardly...
I just installed a MBRP cat back last week. I paid $345 shipped and couldn't be happier with the fit/finish/sound. I had also planned to do Corsa but, couldn't justify 3X the cost of MBRP.

Great write up!
I just installed a very small(1") leveling kit on my '07 Denali. The good thing about 1" and 1.5" kits(spacer under the strut) is that you don't have to seperate the upper ball joint or tie rod. Just push down on the caliper and you have just enough space to slide the...
I recently bought a '07 Yukon Denali for trips and towing our boat to the lake. I took the first descent trip with it this weekend and noticed something that I thought was odd. When driving around the city, stop lights, ect, the voltage is slightly over 14 volts on my gauge. Once I've been...
Thanks. This is what I figured. Where are folks installing their amp? I have 2nd row captains and 3rd row bench. On our landrover, we mounted it on the rear panneling that was somewhat out of the way. On this Denali, I'm at a loss as to where I can mount it and it won't get messed up with...
My '07 Denali is my daily driver but, we use it for all our family trips and we take it to and from the lake all summer. I would like to have some bass but, the ability to quickly remove it so I can use the full trunk space. I have 3rd row seats so my "trunk" is very limited.
Would the 10"...
Jenna - The tune won't be until later this summer, after I get the cat-back installed. Am I good until then or is it recommended to let the computer reset?
Thanks,
Todd
The instructions say to remove the negative terminal for the install. I didn't since I don't see the logic unless it allows the computer to reset/relearn the new intake.
Those that added intakes, did you remove the power to the car(neg terminal) or is this unnecessary?
Thanks,
Todd
Those of you with remote tunes, did you change to cooler plugs and thermostat?
I have been reading and found one post mentioning a 180 degree thermostat and NGK plugs as being needed to take advantage of the tune.
Curious what others have done.
Thanks,
Todd
Got mine from USPS today and had it on in about 30 minutes. You weren't kidding, getting the plastic engine lid off was a true exercise in patience...
Thanks for the write-up. I followed it to a T.

After I posted this, I realized there is no way to "extend" the shock on the front since it is a strut with a coil spring. The ad that had this was on ebay so I'm guessing it was incorrect.
Thanks,
Todd
I'm adding a 1.5" or possibly 2" leveling kit(lower spacer under strut assembly) to my '07 Yukon Denali. I've seen some kits come with just the spacer and the 4 bolts/nuts but, others include a "free" shock extender. Is this shock extender even needed?
I checked with RCX, who seems to be...
What size is the piping before/after the muffler? I thought I heard it was 3.5" diameter. I know I'm also considering this setup but, all the shops around me only carry 3" and want to run reducers to make it work, which I don't want to do.
Thanks,
Todd
Very nice install. I like how you mounted it using an existing bolt on the booster/master cylinder. I've seen a few others and they use the alternator bracket, which I personally don't like.
Did the kit come with the needed hoses or did you have to buy those seperately?
Thanks,
Todd
