    Next Purchase

I'm not sure what I want to buy next. I'm thinking of either just upgrading my brake pad and rotors (both are still working fine). Or, I'm thinking of removing my flowmasters and changing them for some Corsa sports. The only reason I'm thinking of changing out the exhaust is to quiet down the...

Who is running 265 or 285 on a 9inch wide wheel?

I'm running 285 70 17 wheels on my rig, but I have a leveling kit on mine though.

Black Bear Performance - BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF THE YEAR

I agree, the Black Bear tune is the best thing that I've done on the truck so far. I didn't take off my speed limiter like you did Blizzard, but still this thing gets up to 60 so much quicker. I can't keep my foot off the pedal...it seems like I barely have my foot on the gas and I'm already at...

    Torsion Bars

I forgot about that site. That will have to be the route I go as well.

    Torsion Bars

How about a brand new set? My front end is sagging a bit after I leveled my Tahoe. The shop that put on my leveling kit cranked the tbars a bit so it didn't look too bad, but I'd rather have a new set of tbars. I called the chevy dealer and they're charging 323.00 each. I don't want to go used...

Does anyone know where I can buy torsion bars besides the dealer?

    Installing your LED Tails

These issues that people are having when installing the LED tails (brake light not working, cruise control not working, etc). Are these happening with the LED tails purchased off of ebay or are they happening with the more expensive LED tails from IPCW, Anzo or Recon as well?

    Finally Leveled The Tahoe

No...I went with the 18mm offset. Didn't want the wheel to stick out too much.

    Changing Exhaust

I'm thinking of changing out my exhaust, and I'm trying to find a setup that is quiet inside the vehicle. I know the Corsa setups offer no drone while cruising, but what I'm trying to find is a setup that is quiet on the inside from acceleration. My flowmaster 40 series is pretty loud on...

    Finally Leveled The Tahoe

I liked my dropped look too, but I just didn't like the ride. Ride was too rough. Got my kids in the car and the new way is a lot more comfortable IMO.

    Finally Leveled The Tahoe

After about a year and a half with the KMC Slides and 2/3 Belltech drop. I wanted to change it up a bit so I leveled it out with the ReadyLift SST kit, 17in KMC Hoss, 285 70/17 BFG All-Terrains, and a set of 5100 Series Bilstein Shocks (thanks for the heads up on those Max). So, here are some...

    Bilstien 5100s are the shiz

Did those bilsteins cause that increased height up front? I'm having those bilsteins installed in the front and rear with a 2.5" front, and 1" rear readylift kit hopefully sometime this week if my wheels come in. I'm hoping I will not have that height increase up front.

    Rear Hatch won't unlock.

Probably a bad actuator. I've had the rear go out on me twice already

    Replacement Black Bumper

Thanks! I still want to paint the bumpers since that should be the cheaper route to go, but I just haven't had any luck with the shops around here willing to paint the chrome. Looks like the same part number but cheaper with the link that you gave.

    Should I detail?

My Tahoe is in the need of a detail soon. I just don't know if I should wait until after the winter. I plan on making quite a few trips to Tahoe the rest of the winter and I don't know if it's worth it to get detailed right now or should I just wait until after the winter. It might be a waste of...

    Bilstien 5100s are the shiz

I was waiting for this post Yuke. Max told me he was putting these on for you and he recommended the 5100 Bilsteins for my 06 Tahoe as well when I put my leveling kit on next week. Can't wait to get em on with my new tires and wheels too. Thanks for the heads up on those Bilstein's Max!

    Replacement Black Bumper

I want to get rid of my chrome bumpers on my 06 Tahoe and I went through a few paint shops around town and none of them will paint my bumpers thinking that the paint will not hold. So, I was looking into purchasing replacement bumpers like this one...

    Can't find the rattling

I lowered my 06 tahoe about 18 mos. ago, and a few months after the drop I noticed a rattling sound but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. So, I kind of left it alone, but now it's starting to happen more frequently, but only after the truck has been sitting idle for awhile after I...

Any need for the 1" spacer?

no towing or heavy cargo loads on my part, so it sounds like I may not need the spacers then, right? I'm also thinking of buying some new wheels and tires to go along with my leveling. Do you know if it's better to go with hubcentric or lugcentric wheels for the leveling. Is there any rubbing...

Any need for the 1" spacer?

I have a lowered tahoe now that I plan on leveling in the next couple of weeks. I plan on going with the readylift leveling kit that does not come with a rear 1in. spacer. Should I purchase the spacer separately? I don't want to raise it too high that's why I'm going the leveling route, but I'm...

    2006 Tahoe Lift Gate Issue

The liftgate on my 2006 Tahoe stopped functioning. I can no longer open my rear lift gate. The actuator was replaced less than a year ago and it stopped functioning again. Can it be another bad actuator in less than a year? For some odd reason are there no liftgate locks on the 2006 models? I...
