    Most likely I'll go the 6.0/4L80 combo, rebuild front and rear diffs with 4.10 gears and air lockers (don't do much highway driving) and rebuild the transfer case. Basically everything will need to be replaced front to back. it would probably be cheaper to buy a new truck, but I don't use this...

    Most of that was done by my Father-in-Law. I've only put about 10K on it since I've had it. Other than the piston slap on cold starts, it runs great. I even tow a 8000lbs tractor with a couple of times a year - towed it 400 mile last year :)

    457K on an '02 Yukon XL, factory everything except tires, belts, and brakes - still ticking away.
