My 2000 yukon xl 2500 is having some issues. I have both codes of P1639 and P1635. Also the ecm B fuse keeps blowing.
I know the ecm B fuse has to do with the fuel pump but what else is on this circuit? A friend said its the fuel pump but Im not one to just go replacing parts.(the pump is...
Sorry I haven't been able to get back till now. Injured wife keeping me busy. I talked to a couple of electricians about the solder sleeves. The said that they have to get really hot to melt the solder, and since its in the steering column they don't recommend getting it that hot under there...
Ok thanks. That's what the problem is. The rubber boot around the shifter is ripped a little so I peeked inside and sure enough to wires completely broken. Kinda surprising how little the wires are.
My 2000 Yukon 2500. Just started the other day. The tow/haul light comes on at start up and stays on. In the past I've tried to get it to turn on or go into tow/haul mode but it never would. A friend told me that I would turn on if I had a trailer hooked up to it, so I just believed that. Any...
I'm looking for a new truck. I'm thinking the 08+ body style. What years did the 6 speed come in? Were they an option? Everything I'm finding seems to say 4 speed? Any help would be appreciated.
It has a little over 141000 miles on it now. Seems here lately a lot of parts are going bad on it, just part of owning an older vehicle I guess. It runs too good for it to be any compression problems. It does respond well to taking it out and running it through the gears, but my wallet doesn't.
Just noticed today I started my Yukon and it blew a little bit of blue smoke. Its a 2000 Yukon 2500. It did seem to stop after driving it. Is this the indication of my valve guides and seals wearing out?
Hey all i have a 2000 yukon 2500. I was thinging about selling but no one wants to give me what its worth. I know they sell many bolt on supercharger kits. Everyone is telling me to go turbo. I dont really need 900 hp though. I also know turbos are the big thing now and they have came a long...
Amazing job Sevenevez. Thank you. Goodinblack I thought about doing it all white but there are so many out there like that. Im also considering removing the steps and trim. The steps I think have contributed to some of the rust...
Has anyone seen steps like this? I have a buddy that works as a...
This^^^ and the tire pressure is the only things that I have found to help but only a little. But as soon as you smash the pedal once you can throw it all out the window.
Took a few long trips in it after cleaning the PCV valve. There isn't any more moisture under the oil cap. So I think the combination of too many short trips and a clogged up PCV valve may be what was causing it. Also the oil pressure seeped to jump up a little more, not much but its not...
Still seems lower then usual. But it's acceptable. Also as soon as I touch the gas it jumps up.I went ahead and took it to the Mobile One Lubeand got a standard oil change.I usually use Valvoline max life I'd prefer Valvoline DuraBlend but it's very hard to find around here. I know mobiles a...
