What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Restructuring finances mostly. I wrestled with the decision for over a week, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Got a 2013 Acadia, a dealer gave us a really good deal or we'd still have the burb. Tried to keep some of the same functionality (hauling people or gear). The burb...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Unfortunately I traded the Burb in. :( I'm sure I'll be back eventually, it was the most versatile vehicle I've ever owned. I do have an Airaid MIT and K&N drop in for sale on Ebay or Craigslist if you are in the Lancaster PA area. (I can't list in the classifieds or I would have). I'm also...

Best Programmer for 87 Oct, AFM Disable, 2007 5.3L

Another Vote for Superchips (I also had a Bully Dog that worked well on my Silverado) I have the older Superchips Cortex, still gets updates but is no longer sold. It works for what I need. Has the 87, Tow, and Performance tunes, transmission options, AFM delete, speed and rev limit raise...

2014 GMC Yukon XL Hitting Factory Upper Control Arm Bump Stop

I don't have that kit but I don't think cutting the bumb stop is needed. Is the top bolting in or can't you get it up far enough?

    Rear hatch

My ltz burb wouldn't open by hand. I think you have to disable the auto lift to manually open... Mine was warranty so I didn't have to get it open. My manual says to disable using the button near the front map lights

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

that pic with the water dripping out of the molding is why I removed mine. It was leaving deposits running down and started to rust the bottom of my door.

1st post, a few questions re LTZ and Denali pls

Autoride adjusts the shocks, Autolevel is for leveling. You can have autolevel without autoride. The error he is referring to is my link (which I removed) to the magneride which is not on the LTZ prior to 2015. They use bi-state dampening.

Let's see some pics of some lifted and leveled

Looks like I need some denali running boards.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I had that too, it looks like scratches from the edge of the molding. As mentioned above some polish compound should help.

1st post, a few questions re LTZ and Denali pls

The autoride adjusts to the road conditions, meaning a better ride and less body roll compared to an LT. I think all or most gm 5.3s have active fuel management.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I held off for months but the damn molding was holding water and causing deposit buildup running down my door to the point where it started to rust

    CAI is it worth it?

There's an older thread discussing intakes. The result was to get the airaid mit and a drop in filter. Cost around $150 total and best performance since it uses the stock air box for cool air. Found the thread

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I took a plastic paint scraper to get it off, you may need to get it started with fishing line. Then clean the tape off with goo gone and detailer.

    Front Lower Valance

I had mine off and on, doing several trials and couldn't notice a difference. If you drive a lot of highway you may see more of a drop removing it. The other alternative is to trim it.

    Reattach side molding

Im going to try the fishing line and 3m wheel. I took the molding off my Silverado the hard way years ago by pulling one end slowly, then used the old tape against the remaining tape on the door. Then got the detailer and wax. It was a lot of work and about 3 hours.

    Reattach side molding

Next free weekend I'm going to remove it, if I wouldn't like it I'm going to go with the 2015 style since its smaller. I have issues with the current moldings holding water and drip marks building up on the paint from the hard water around here.
