    AC leak test options?

The AC has been out for a while and we had the schrader valves replaced, which did nothing. Can anyone recommend a way to locate the leak in the system aside from going to a shop?

    Transmission whine or ?

We've had it for a year and never crawled under it for that. :sleepy:

    Transmission whine or ?

It has a pretty loud fan motor above a couple clicks, but it separate from the "whine".

    Transmission whine or ?

Anyone else have this issue? At low speeds the Tahoe will make this whining like noise but it seems to disappear at above 20mph, unless the truck noise covers it! I put it in neutral to see if it is belts or pulleys, but no noise until transmission is engaged. Some have suggested tran-oil pump...

    P0446 2003 yukon 5.3

Here's some info: An intermittent condition could be caused by a damaged EVAP vent housing, a temporary blockage at the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve inlet, or a pinched vent hose. A blockage in the vent system will also cause a poor fuel fill problem. An EVAP canister, vent hose, or vent...

Hey "Zsisk4" Here's some info for you. FUEL LEVEL SENSOR The fuel level sensor consists of a float, a wire float arm, and a ceramic resistor cord. The position of the float arm indicates the fuel level. The fuel level sensor contains a variable resistor, which changes resistance in...

    O2 sensors or cats

Wow. Here is some other data: The PCM determines that the oxygen storage capability of the TWC has degraded to less than a calibrated threshold. This diagnostic may conclude in only one test attempt. However this diagnostic may require as many as 18 test attempts, which would require 3...

    Intake Gaskets on 5.3l Ls

Replaced the 02 sensor bank 1 sensor 1, cleaned MAF sensor, replaced plugs and wires and added ACDelco fuel treatment. After I was done, I cleared the codes and drove it around for awhile. It has been 8 days with no codes or bad idle...

    P0102 Maf or Vaccum

Inspect the harness of the MAF sensor to verify that it is not routed too close to the following components: The secondary ignition wires or coils, Any solenoids, Any relays, Any motors A low minimum air rate through the sensor bore at idle or during deceleration may cause this DTC to set...

    ODB II P0132 & P0135 codes

On the 05 the bank 1 sensor 1 02 sensor from ACDelco had the barbed plastic retaining pin attached, so I just snipped the old one. It is very tight to reach the sensor harness plug. I had to jack the frame up to make it easier to move under there and slide under the step rail.

    O2 sensors or cats

From AllData: If the catalyst is functioning correctly, the HO2S bank 1 sensor 2 and HO2S bank 2 sensor 2 signals will be far less active than the signals that are produced by HO2S bank 1 sensor 1 and HO2S bank 2 sensor 1. This indicates that the TWC oxygen storage capacity is at an acceptable...

    Filled up and Idling crazy

Replaced 02 sensor, plugs, wires and cleaned MAF. It runs great now and have been having the wife drive it to work. 8 days without a hitch or trouble code. We'll start using top tier gasoline and see what happens. Thanks for all the suggestions. :waytogo:

    Filled up and Idling crazy

That's what it is starting to seem like, but will try a few other things first. Runs good most of the time, even starts fine (warm or cold).

    Filled up and Idling crazy

Ran old gas down to 1/4 tank, added AcDelco Fuel Treatment, ran for a bit, then put in 12gallons on top. Ran good for a bit then rough idle at stops and turning. Then today the codes came a tumbling. 6 on the OBD2, but the same codes as before. Have not checked fuel pressure yet, have new plugs...

    Intake Gaskets on 5.3l Ls

Have been reading that many people corrected their P0171, P0300 and P0131 codes by replacing the intakes gaskets. These have TSB's even and is a know issue. Has anyone on here had to do this to correct these codes?

    Filled up and Idling crazy

Put AcDelco Fuel treatment in the tank and believe it or not the check engine light went away! It is still idling rougher than normal at idle and dropping to around 500rpm at stop. So on we go to the next thing.
