    Wow. No codes at all?? Do you have a way to run live data? It only does it when the outside temperature is high, but engine temperature is cold? Be good to know what the fuel pressure looks like from driving to a stop. Did this begin after the intake gaskets were done???

    You can shop around by searching for your specific transfer case NP246 remanufactured or rebuilt and see what else comes up. I found SPP by looking for a different transfer case, but their prices seemed reasonable. RockAuto has your case with a core charge.

    How much coolant are you losing? Where does it appear? Meaning you can actually see coolant? Can you smell coolant when it is hot? I just had this same problem and it turned out my 16 year old radiator was leaking. After removing the water pump I was shocked how clean and not leaking it was.

    That they are cheaply made and can quit working suddenly and can't be repaired. Also, that they don't work all the time for whtever reason. Which model do you have? Cost? Reliability? I have issues with the HVAC actuators and it's either get a scan tool or go to the mechanic for a full reaming.
