My 2005 has been the best rig I have ever owned. I have been trying to find another one and there are slim pickens under 200,000 miles.
I'd say the biggest issue is the HVAC system and the cluster solder/stepper motors.
Does anyone have any recommended scan tools that can talk to our HVAC actuators, that is not a Tech2? Having rough time with the air recirculation actuator among others.

Are you saying it did not do this before you parked it? And now, even with tire balance and alignment it does the shimmy shakes?
Does it matter what speed you are going?
Is the vibration only at 55mph or can you feel it at 10mph?
Power steering have issues?
A simple thing you can do is unplug all your connectors and spray them with Deoxit or other type of contact cleaner. Could be oxidation on contacts or not, but a good thing to do anyway.
You might get a humming bird sound from that heat shield once in a while depending on how loose it becomes. Sometimes when idling, but anytime is possible. I was able to wedge a nice rock into mine.

Has anyone seen this on their own rigs? A groove or grooves being cut into the wheel from the caliper?
It the craziest thing, because the caliper is a 1/4" from the wheel.
I thought maybe it was some gravel, but after removing the wheel and inspecting the caliper, there was aluminum shavings...
You need a pretty good scan tool to read live data on these rigs. Most brands of scan tools are self helpful or there will be a video about it somewhere.
