I did actually. Been many years ago now... But as I remember it turned out to be a disconnected wire inside the actual control switch itself. Don't ask me how, but the wire inside the actual high beam/ turn signal actuator controller had come disconnected. I either ended up replacing the...
Wow... I'm having this issue with my '16 LTZ with barely 17K on it. Stock, chrome 22" wheels with pretty fresh Continental Crosscontact LX20 tires. The crap is freakin' ANNOYING!!!! Once I hit 80mph or higher the vehicle feels like it's 20 years old trying to do 100mph. Vibration alllllll...
So it hasn't even been 24hrs.... lol... and my wife managed to pick up a nail or something. Had to get a tire plugged.
But yeah man... The vehicle is practically brand new with 10,600 miles on it. Rides wonderful... Clean.... A/C seats are the best I've ever experienced (compared to a 2015...
Two years later, this thread has helped ease concerns. I'm headed in to the dealer now to process purchase of a 2016 LTZ now. They are offering this setup.
Any idea on installed cost?
For the record.... I decided to try this product called "K-Seal" off the advice of a commenter on this youtube vid... What do I have to lose?
It has been a solid week now. No more disappearing coolant. Truck is running fine. Temp is fine. Time will tell...
Forgive me if this is an obvious question, but what can I do with this information? With it being a TSB does that somehow cover under a recall or a warranty or something?
SMH...... I finally took the truck to the dealer and had them run a diagnostic. They pressure tested the system and determined that there is a leak into the passenger side cylinders.
I need a new engine, right?

Last week I swapped out the water pump due to a coolant leak. I disconnected the battery completely (both positive and negative connections) for the job.
I can't remember the last time we had to use either the high-beams or the hazard lights.... So this could have...
Thanks for all the great replies! Yesterday I went home and properly burped the system based on information I got from another thread.
This morning my wife too the Kon out and came back. Now, based on how it was acting over the weekend the coolant fill level in the reservoir/tank should have...
In my search on the topic, I think my problem could be that I did not burp the system. Like I said... the coolant is literally "disappearing" ... no puddles, no visible path of discharge anywhere.... no smell from the exhaust. I will attempt to burp it properly this evening to see if that...
Nah, never had the oil tested. I will look into that. But no, the oil is still just a black as usual when I change it. Been running Mobil 1 full syn 5W30 since I've had the vehicle. I got it with 54K on the clock back in 2006. She's been good to us.
Here's the heater hose connecters I replaced.
Here's the old original water pump.
Heres' the new. I did not replace the thermostat as I had purchased the wrong one. The one I need is the thermostat and the whole housing there. Yes, I know I gotta go back in, but it was a last minute discovery...
If I were not already bald, I'd be pulling my hair out at this point.

I have been dealing with a coolant leak / disappearing coolant since winter 2016. I found that the heater hose connector was leaking coolant there. It is notorious for happening after a while...
AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH.... Yet another of these threads with NO answer in it!!!!!
Does ANYBODY have a fix that's better than "replacing" the unit? I have no warranty and I have no budget for a $500 replacement...
It happens on any fuel tank level. Full, half tank, quarter tank... I can "almost" make it cut off at will. Not literally.... But I mean, we are now to the point where we just plain anticipate it cutting out.

Hello all. This is my first post here... I think....
I have a 2003 Yukon SLT.... I bought it used.
I'm having a strange problem. The truck is cutting off and making and then making a low "hummmm" sound for about 8 seconds afterwords. This happens typically when making a low speed...
