Chauncey, did you ever get yours painted?
I've ran across a couple since I sold mine to Chauncey, just keep hunting on CL. If I come across another ill PM you but I don't know if shipping would kill the deal
What didn't fit right? When I was looking into these vs the esky ones, I've read the smooth caps will have a gap near the top and won't sit flush. Esky ones don't fit perfect at the top either, cause it's designed to be used with the esky 3rd light.
Smoked my third with a little TYF love :) still need to wetsand and clear it
Also re-plastidipped my wheels until I can afford to take these and my esky 22's to the powder coater
Offsets are different but won't cause you any trouble. There are several members here that have made the swap with no issues even with modified suspension
I have these same monitors in mine and they're good for the price. Install was pretty easy. For power I just pulled the 12v from the deck and ran it under the console. As far as the headrests, Just unclip the bottom of the seats and reach your hand up while feeding the wire down from the top.
I ran the toyo proxes on my last set of 22's and I liked them a lot. Handeled great IMO good wet traction and tread life. Many people on here are running the nitto 420s with no complaints . I'm sure one of them will chime in with their opinions on that tire.
I know they're not on your list but, we've talked about these wheels and I agree with macho on the Marcellino Concepts those would be my 1st personal choice or the ck375s. Based on your list tho I would do esky 24's. I like the D2s and the versante's but I personally wouldn't buy them cause they...
Re: Denali Headlight Recommendations
This will be my next nod for sure. Got a mint set off headlights in my garage begging for a retrofit
WTF!? I have no idea how this posted in this thread but since I'm here, that is one sick hoe!
Pulling the headlights apart and painting the housing Bermuda blue vs having black housing Headlights. I think I've seen a maroon denali do it and it didn't look to bad Imo. I know the NNBS guys are doing it and it looks pretty good.
I wouldn't do it, I d leave them stock . I think the blue, black and chrome wouldn't flow very well. I wonder what it would look like if you ptm the headlights?
You'd have to contact the seller and ask. I know the sonar ones I bought a couple years back did. I bought them from X3 racing tho. As far as the headlights you don't have to live with the orange reflector. Just do what I did to my OEM set...
Yes there is a specific tool designed for this however, I'm personally not spending $100 for a tool I'd use once. Here it is http://store.4wheelingplus.com/proddetail.asp?prod=66-7822A
I and several others on here used the gear puller with zero problems and it's free :) Just make sure to take...
