So, I am browsing the internet and would like to get some different headlights for my '05 'Nali. I like how the OEM have good, non-blinding output with the stock projectors, I would just like an all clear light. Also, my passenger light has some condensation in it,so I figured it'd be time to replace. While the eBay CCFL halo's are nice looking, I'm very scared of the quality and longevity of the product.

That being said what all clear (opened to smoked as well) headlights do y'all suggest? What will last the longest and have the same or better output without doing a retrofit? Also, does anyone have a link for the smoked LED tails from X5 Racing on eBay? I found some smoked ones but not the X5 seller.

Thanks!

Get depo or OEM for headlights all other lights are crap. You can also do a retro fit pretty easy with your stock lights you have now for a couple hundo.

Sonar smoked or clear reverse lens would be my choice and what I used to have. there are a few other styles you may like tho

Do those tails have the built in resistors?

I like those black heads, but I don't like the orange reflector, am I going to have to live with the reflector?

You'd have to contact the seller and ask. I know the sonar ones I bought a couple years back did. I bought them from X3 racing tho. As far as the headlights you don't have to live with the orange reflector. Just do what I did to my OEM set

It's kind of a pain in the ass to get them open but worth the time in my book. I did break a couple spots on the lip on mine while pulling them apart but I just made sure to seal them real good.

Next question, do you think with smoked heads, PTM grill surround and chrome grill insert I could still rock the chrome wheels? There are some people on here who have done it and I really like it, just trying to set it up in my head.

Like this but with my Bermuda blue:

I wouldn't do it, I d leave them stock . I think the blue, black and chrome wouldn't flow very well. I wonder what it would look like if you ptm the headlights?

Pulling the headlights apart and painting the housing Bermuda blue vs having black housing Headlights. I think I've seen a maroon denali do it and it didn't look to bad Imo. I know the NNBS guys are doing it and it looks pretty good.

hmm...That sounds like a really cool idea and very unique. It would tie in with my other grill which is PTM. would you buy new ones and pull them apart or pull apart my current ones and have new clear OEM ones for back ups? Where can I get the OEM clear ones for a decent price?
