    After replacing my plugs and wires, my idle became rough at 500 rpm down to stall and got code P060 (misfire cylinder 6). Did a search and cleaned my throttle body. I removed the TB and sure it was dirty. RPM went up to 600 and no more stalling but still rough that causes the car to shudder...

    I saw the sprags, solenoids, etc. They were bent and burned. For the first time in many years, I can now feel my overdrive kick in. Feels like a 5th gear. Corvette servo was a good decision thanks to the other members' suggestions. At 150K miles, I think the tranny served its life.

    just to clarify, this is a rebuild with "upgrades" (not sure what they're upgrading) with a 3 year warranty. According to AAMCO, they will use different materials.
