Tech 2 or Range AFM Disabler?
With the Range AFM disabler, it must be plugged in at all times in the OBD-II port as it does not reprogram the ECM. You can do it either way, its split down the middle with our customers just disabling the AFM, or doing the DOD delete kit as well.- BlackBearPerf

Sam is absolutely correct. The AFM on the 2007-2013 models is known to cause oil consumption issues and part damage so it is best to have it disabled. We do not feel it adds much of a benefit for those years. We can disable it so that the vehicle stays in V8 at all times. We can do it with a...- BlackBearPerf

2003 Chevy Tahoe Performance Chip Recommendations
Those numbers seem a little high with just a tune. For an 03 Tahoe 5.3 we see 15-30hp, 15-20ft-lbs improvement along with improved throttle response, and improved shift patterns.
