Check the lighting block connections for corrosion (it’s near the rear wheel wheel passenger side). Mine had green crap in one connection, and it caused all kinds of weird turn signals crap. Cleaned it off 4 years ago, fine since.
He has quite a few videos about our clusters, adding the trans temp etc. sat in his shop while he added trans temp and turned it on for me. While I was there, had him redo all the steppers, change to LEDs and put white face Escalade in. Now my turn signals light up blue lol
I’m betting valley or main, but I’ll crawl up there one of these days and recheck. Wouldn’t be surprised if I didn’t get it tight enough or something since working blind back there
I’ve been chasing a drip on the inside starter bolts for like 3 years lol. Mechanic said it was “definitely” the rear main. But that inspection cover off, dry as a bone. Who knows.

Rocket man’s comments made me run 3 quarts thru, pumping it all out. Somewhat better. Probably just gonna have to replace the pump one day. It’s been a little groan noise when turning hard left in parking lots for years.
Plugs and wires and attempted to quiet the power steering with a turkey baster and bleeding it. Still groans some. #8 plug was a PITA, finally figured out the best way was just to lay on top of the engine, then it was easy. Old plugs didn’t look terrible, maybe somebody did them in the 145k...
My fuel gauge would go to empty just parked on a slight decline. That stopped after I replaced the fuel pump. Pretty easy in the driveway with jack and stands. I used a second jack and some wood to hold the tank up. Make sure you disconnect all the lines, there’s several.
Finally replaced the driver side blend door actuator that I’d had sitting for 4 months. 3 years ago it turned hot once, I took it apart and cleaned etc. worked fine until a couple months ago, it did it once. This week it happened 4 times, so in the new one went. Old one still clean this time...
