What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

You're right, they can't be too short, the stud sticks out a little.. Thanks for the links! I do have a regular 3/8" socket, but I don't wanna beat on those if possible. I'll probably get a 1/2" set.. I think everyone has convinced me I need an impact for removing wheels too! Would be nice to...

    2014 Yukon slow acceleration

Definately hook up a good scanner if you can. In my case, I didn't see any out of whack parameters. (But did see a lot of knock retard) We may or may not have the same problem. Currently waiting for a back pressure gauge ($18 from amazon) and will test that way. Should know this weekend...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I would prefer to, but seeing as how I'm struggling to pull the secondary O2, drilling the hole seems easier! (have fender liners out, easy to reach) Saw this video.. Ordered the same looking gauge from amazon for $18. vacuum gauge too which I don't have anymore since my mityvac died and I...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I'd have to go that way just because I already have a red drill and driver and radio :P and vacuum but it's dying.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Thanks for that! Guess at idle it's maybe not too bad... If it's bogging from a stop, maybe around 1000+ rpms under load might show some difference? (never tested mine driving) My one exhaust nut that's easy to reach broke loose.. still tight/creaking backing out a couple turns so I'm applying...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Hmm.. 16hp out of a total 320.. seems like it SHOULD be 5%! Maybe it's 16hp compared to max power at 500rpms?

2012 Tahoe SSV 4wd Front Leveling/Rear Shock Replacement Questions

I would say my truck is pretty level, unloaded. So I prefer a little rake. But not as much as I had, which looked very similar to the OP's. To put the spacers in.. put the front on jackstands remove wheels undo swaybar link(s) undo the lower two shock bolts remove clip-on nuts from bottom of...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Currently struggling to loosen at the manifolds. Had the breaker on the one nut that is reachable without wobble adapter. Nope! Don't want to break.. Gonna soak them. Didn't because I lost the straw on my liquid wrench.. I'll use a brush.. I'll get there eventually.. Got cleaned up so I'm...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yea I just wanted a visual confirm, figuring theres a good chance I need to pull it down anyway.. But its kicking my ass before I even started so.. If I need to spend the money for cats, Ill just buy new O2s.. so maybe I dont need to remove old O2s..

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I maybe just lowering the pipe to test as j91z recommended! I was going to gut them temporarily if clogged, but I have smog this year and dont feel like doing it twice.. The dang CARB ypipe is $2000! (or $1600 from rockauto for a ripply aftermarket one) Apparently CARB testing costs $1250...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Struggling to get my O2 sensors out! Any tips/tricks? Liquid wrench, wire brushed.. still tight! I haven't even gotten the secondaries loose.. Primary O2 on driver side, above driveshaft, looks like a real pain! Do I need to remove driveshaft? Struggling to pull the wiring plug off the...

2012 Tahoe SSV 4wd Front Leveling/Rear Shock Replacement Questions

I just have some rough country spacers up front. Personal preference, I like a little rake.

2012 Tahoe SSV 4wd Front Leveling/Rear Shock Replacement Questions

My Z71 looked similar to your picture before a level. (Have a push bumper and extra battery up front) I have 2" lift spacers up front and no spacers in back.. and I feel I will add a 1" spacer in back.. You could do the front's first, then decide on the rear.

    2014 Yukon slow acceleration

Leaning towards checking the cat converters myself.. 3rd cat was fine, but that's way downstream.. You're not kidding about the starters rattling. I removed mine for motor mounts and have never felt such a loose jangling part in my hands before! That was one of the more obvious preventative...

    BOGGING BADLY! - SOLVED

Planning to check primary cats if nothing easier comes up! ~208k.. I'm taking a break from losing for now! Gimme a day or two.. Will probably pull downpipe to visually check Do you think a plugged exhaust would set off the knock sensors? Hot air being stuck making it detonate? Reason I was not...

    BOGGING BADLY! - SOLVED

I may have to do that yet! These reasons I'm not super motivated.. rear cat looked great secondary and primary o2 sensor data line up instantly o2 data looks normal exhaust noise/flow is normal more revs do not equal more bog. It really feels like REP mode, like the computer is doing it...

'07 Yukon XL Denali w/ Multiple Wiring Issues

Might be worth checking the starter just in case the wire fell out. The clip that holds it in breaks easily when removing. Sounds like you had some other problems to begin with, so just in case the starting is separate from the other issues.. Looking through the passenger fender liner with the...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Did something easy while failing to figure out why my truck runs like poop.. Also replaced AC belt. Compressor was surprisingly gummy feeling when turned by hand. (pulley spins freely)

    BOGGING BADLY! - SOLVED

Only reason I dont feel like messing with the gas, its a full 20+ gallons, and now no misfires.. ? If it doesn't get worse, its driveable. Scary pulling away from a stop sometimes, but I could try and burn the gas off.. It's NOT the AC compressor. A little gummy feeling to turn compressor by...

Buzzing Noise at Rear Speakers 2007 Tahoe/Suburban

Is it possible your aftermarket headunit does not support rear seat audio? I believe it lets the driver listen to one audio source and the rear seat audio (headphones) uses a second source. If you don't have sound out of your rear speakers normally, then maybe your amp is bad or somehow the...
