Nope, I'm in sunny CARBifornia!
just dry surface rust! Easy as it gets.. shoulda been easy.. will try again tomorrow morn..
Definately considering an electric impact wrench.. when I REALLY need it.. (had one, stolen decades ago!)
the youtube channel called torque test channel has really good reviews on different impacts. one of the few that test well for real world use, and tests cheap as well as high end.
off the top of my head for cordless money doesn't matter there's a snap on that's good and a Dewalt that has like a built in v-tech that does well. the red stuff is always pretty good, because the battery crosses to 100 different useful things. if you don't car about battery corss and only want a good bang for the buck, I think it's a craftsman. Just a rebrand from someone else, but hits hard for cheap.
they do test some corded ones, but not great as well as a few cheap Amazon China stuff that aren't horrible. especially for the price.
my 2 cents for impacts is the same as my advice for TV size. always go bigger then you think you'll need. you'll never regret it after the money hit passes. but it will be annoying everytime you pick it up and it. doesn't break the bolt.
that said I'm an Ingersoll fan boy. ha
