    2014 Suburban Electrical gremlins

You are talking about the alternator plug, not the rvc sensor right? Because, I thought it was odd that the bacon612's alt defaulted to 13.6V.. which is the stock initialization duty cycle of 60%=13.8V But I thought the alternator needed that signal really..

Anyone with a silver Tahoe ?

Don't know if the judge will care about some random persons Tahoe picture.. Maybe find some factory literature about the tint to show him? RPO code AJ1 GLASS,DEEP TINT(REAR SIDE WINDOWS AND REAR DOOR WINDOW) If you have additional tint, and are hoping it will pass as factory, then idk..

    09 Tahoe Hard Starting

If you keep using that janky starter long enough, the starter gear might pop out of there completely, and will bang around the bellhousing. (VERY noisy, and the next time you hit the starter, you hear it freespin) No chance the starter IS engaged, just not powered? The extra drag maybe causing...

Gas pump keeps stopping when I fuel up.

AT&T service and sales are terrible. Just had to cancel a credit card because they gave me the runaround when I was trying to cancel my uncle's service. They said they would have fiber and were selling it 15 years ago.. might be in now, might be lies. Usually they send 3 saleskids at a time..

2013 Chevy Tahoe Z71 PPV Outfitted, Battery drains overnight.

12.3V seems good? You could try disconnecting the BCM fuse and see if the draw is 60mA right away.. (just to verify that the 110mA is retained accessory power) If 50mA is acceptable, is a 60mA draw going to drain the battery overnight? (serious question, seems like it shouldn't) Is it only...

2013 Chevy Tahoe Z71 PPV Outfitted, Battery drains overnight.

Is the battery more than 3 years old as well? Could it be a dying battery? The current draw numbers you show seem to be in the acceptable range?...

Dimmed Backlit Dash and Radio/HVAC Lights

*Maybe* why my dimmer doesn't work in daytime.. My auto headlights are disabled.. (Autosync BCM programming) Or not, looks like this guy had the same dimmer behavior.. https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/dash-light-dimming-during-the-daytime.14456/post-187916 And I don't remember them...

Dimmed Backlit Dash and Radio/HVAC Lights

I will check again tomorrow, -BUT- if it's that hard to notice, then I don't think that's what the OP is experiencing. If he is seeing much dimmer backlight in the daytime, which would not be achievable with daytime dimmer. From what I can tell looking at wiring diags, the sensor in the mirror...

Dimmed Backlit Dash and Radio/HVAC Lights

i have a dashmat now, so the dimmer is more active, but daylight mode the dimmer does not dim. Only in night mode...???

    2014 Suburban Electrical gremlins

Only that there is a fuel economy mode, and it is tied to the current sensor. (And that they were considering dropping that mode for dual batts.. why?) It's just me, I find stupid things interesting..

Dimmed Backlit Dash and Radio/HVAC Lights

Just checked mine. No dim at all in the daytime.. What would the issue be?

    2014 Suburban Electrical gremlins

I believe the ECM and BCM both can change alternator output. BCM maybe economy adjustments while the ECM can boost voltage when required. (Unless you unplug the alternator 2-wire plug)

If a dual battery setup, often a dying battery will be pulling the other one down with it..

Can The Water Pump Pulley Be Replaced?

Yup too many risks fixing what must be a bad pump. If bad material or machining, pulley will come off again. Time for a genuine GM. Can't really recommend Melling. They ship the crappiest thermostat neck. It makes their product feel cheaper. Even if they got them for free, they shouldn't be...

Dimmed Backlit Dash and Radio/HVAC Lights

Right, sounds like his go nighttime dim in the day.? My dimmer only works in nighttime mode..?? FWIW, AutoSync w/BCM option can reprogram dimmer brightness. So full dim can be fully off.

Dimmed Backlit Dash and Radio/HVAC Lights

Shouldn't it be the light sensor/circuit since the dimmer only works at night? Dim backlight has been bugging me more since I got a dashmat. The sensor has a resistance of ~600ohms in direct sunlight, and 15,000ohms in full dark. Not sure the exact setpoint, but 10k ohm will put it in dimmer...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

It's only 4 from headunit to amp. Also rear doors are connected to d-pillars. I guess you need the luxury amp and you get separate D pillars and center speaker ('07 diagrams here)

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Looks like the door speakers connect in parallel on the tweeter connector. Also looks like you can check for signal to the doors in the dash end fuse panels..

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

maybe.. your rear audio does need jumping.. Looks like it is between the radio and amp for the rear speakers..

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I would think that the panel unplugged *should* be like headphones unplugged as well.. The front tweeters are connected to the front speakers. So if your left tweeter works but not your speaker, then maybe the speaker is bad or the connector/wiring is loose.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Sorry I don't know about the rear panel and the audio, Could be speakers/amp/headunit... If the passenger front works, but not the driver... I would focus on driver front first ..since the rears could have something to do with the rear control panel..
