    Passenger front door problems

None of the wiring for the running boards go through the door.. Perhaps the issue with the door lock on that side, also stops the running board from retracting? Does seem like a wiring issue if you notice the radio cutting in/out as you open/close the door. Did you check the door hinge wiring?

DOD delete low oil pressure beat!

Thanks for the explanation! Here is my stock throttle follower map, 3rd gear looks exactly like park! (apparently '10-'12 tunes are like this, corvette too) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ According to the fine...

    Wheel bearing recommendation

I tried the SKF x-tracker. Makes a little sound when cornering.. Like bad wheel bearings! (minimal, but there..) So far (1-2 years, <10k miles?) it hasn't gotten any worse.. but I almost wish it would so I can justify new wheel bearings.. Timken next time..

    Engine Hot Warning/AC Lockout

Haven't looked at mine yet.. Do you mean two wires? Or are you saying 4 wires? Here's the diesel diagram, and it *looks* like two sensors..

DOD delete low oil pressure beat!

yep, thats the rabbit hole I'm talkin about between dialing in the vve (virtual volumetric efficiency) maf, speed density, 2 bar map sensor, fueling (wideband o2) and spark.. I think I'll pass.. People seem to swear by it though...

DOD delete low oil pressure beat!

Sure is fun (and overwhelming!) looking at all the tables and variables. I have been working on a transmission tune, and I'm quite happy with it just for daily driving compared to stock. Mostly shift scheduling, I highly recommend the 2015 shift schedule as a starting point. ..currently trying...

DOD delete low oil pressure beat!

How do you tune that??? And what was it doing before tuning? And what year 5.3? Your stock values look different than mine. I keep hearing about people tuning their VVE or running speed density. I think I'm too scared and lazy to do that.. unless it's sooo much better?

Escalade pulls to the left - Replaced almost everything!

Agree on the caster, the specs call for 1 degree difference in caster, but the allowable range is +/- 1 degree....? You would think it should be the opposite side.. Does it feel like the brakes are making it hard to turn? Or the diff?

Escalade pulls to the left - Replaced almost everything!

Funny, I was going to joke that your clockspring is wound too tight, pulling on your steering wheel :p (clockspring referring to the spiral wiring behind the steering wheel in case you hadn't heard the term before) Which would mean your steering wheel being installed 360 degrees off.. If the...

Escalade pulls to the left - Replaced almost everything!

Only thing not replaced is the lower control arms? Maybe bad balljoints or buggered bushings in the lower arm? Since you did the uppers, I'm guessing the lowers looked fine... Maybe try a different alignment shop.. ?

    HP Tuners additional changes?

Funny when he says, 'don't max out the values, computer might freak out.. Brake Torque Limit max is 6042.. let's put it at 6041.' (Stock values were 222 Nm or 301 lb/ft.) Nothing wrong with it, I just expected him to put a number like 500 or 800 in there the way he was talkin..

    Engine Hot Warning/AC Lockout

Interesting! Reminds me of the block heater, where too much temp difference after shutdown/startup will set a code... (But not the factory block heater, which shuts off at low temp) Seems to me, if it was just a delta T thing, that the gauge shouldn't zero out? Also, if the thermostat was the...

    Engine Hot Warning/AC Lockout

Odd that the gauge reads cold yet your DIC message says engine hot. Perhaps the signal reads hot briefly before going cold? My guess is something wrong with your engine coolant temp sensor or wiring..

    2012 Tahoe Cam issues

NVM I see now the code is for timing too far advanced, likely the phaser and not a bad cam position sensor. (which you also said was replaced by the shop already)

14 tahoe 4x4 poor fuel mileage help

His wife can't be driving badly to get 16mpg on their old tahoe! Currently at 8.8mpg 8.7mpg, maybe somethings wrong.. but I frequently use E85 and all short city driving.. And I don't drive super slow.. But I find 23mpg a little hard to believe..

2014 tahoe dome light does not turn on with driver side door open

If you try a replacement module, if you get the same year/options, you probably won't need any programming. You could also jumper J2-5(yellow) with J2-13(gray/black) & J2-11(tan) on your door module. That should simulate the open/ajar signals and turn on the dome. If that works, then it's a...
