2012 Yukon XL Denali seat issues
I would check for juice at the memory seat module, J3-5. That's the wire from the circuit breaker to the memory seat module. Also check J3-3, which should have power from the memory seat module. -

Yea, that sounds like the fuse is probably working.. I guess you could remove that fuse and see if your tire pressures still read.. Here's a few diagrams that might help.. 6205 circuit, purple/white wire looks like that is power for the switches... -

I was half-joking asking what's the best air filter, because people get tired of the best oil/filter thread :) I don't trust oiled air filters with a MAF sensor.. worry oil might coat the sensor over time. Regarding seat fuse, there seems to be fuses on left side of instrument panel, and a circuit break under dash by pedals.. Driver seat module? Fuse 25? It looks like the receiver for your tire pressure monitors uses the same fuse. (and possibly remote entry but I haven't looked at that wiring... -
What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?
Interesting, I always thought it was a crack, not an intentional channel. Now I'm worried that by silicone-ing the gap, if any water seeps in from the front or sides, that it won't be able to evaporate.. which could cause what harm??- mikez71

Aftermarket wheels on PPV. What size?
That is very close to a 285/70-17 that fit my z71 model BARELY without rubbing or may have had minor rubbing. Its about .75 - 1.0" bigger radius than stock. When you crank your wheel, do the the front tires have a good 1" of clearance everwhere? Wheel offset can affect things too. Bottom...- mikez71

It was running fine before? (minus low oil pressure?) If the cam was replaced already, he's good. If not replaced, he will have to pull the head when failure and replace cam and 1 lifter? If he does it pre-emptively, he's only saving the cost of 1 lifter. But if it's OK, he's buying a new...- mikez71

Long range led pod location
Perhaps a lightbar that goes over top of windshield? Or a lightbar behind the grill? Cowl is OK, but the hood will be distractingly bright if you're pointing forward. (maybe because my truck is white, yours is darker) I've got some cowl mounted ditchlights, but they are pointed ~45 degrees off...- mikez71

Issues with fueling and low power. 09 Tahoe 5.3
Any codes? (Need a code reader/scanner) One of the reasons for reduced power mode can be when your pedal position vs throttle position isn't registering what its expecting. On your 09 model, the reduced power mode limits your throttle to 8%. On my 2012 it is limited to 6%. Dangerously slow!- mikez71

Makes sense.. Too many bearings fell out and the roller was loose and banging.. Paulwaul would have noticed that! Hopefully the previous owner replaced the cam too.. Maybe Paulwaul got a look at the cam lobes when he replaced lifters?- mikez71

Are motor mounts easy to replace with exhaust manifolds removed?
WITH manifolds I had to: Remove starter and exhaust heatshield on passenger side Remove steering shaft coupler and exhaust heatshield on driver side NOT BAD WITHOUT manifolds, MIGHT NOT need to do any of that. Toughest thing is being able to see with the old motor mount heatshield in the way...- mikez71

Passenger side steering rack bushing? replacing
I have a pretty noticeable clunk when making certain tight turns (faster U-turns etc) I have found play at the passenger side steering rack bushing.. Can make it clunk by hand. Purchased a GM replacement bushing, Country of Origin = USA!? it's a split rubber piece that looks like it was made in...- mikez71

To clarify, I am not saying it would be 'easy' to tune, only that the boost level is well below what aftermarket kits are set at.. (apparently the aftermarket kits are not well tuned?) 4psi is 4psi no matter what blower it's coming out of.. (maybe little more or less heat/lag/etc.) The HPTuners...- mikez71

Dual Batteries installation.
Pretty sure the factory only runs the one negative cable through the RVC sensor. Last time I disconnected my batteries (factory parallel connection), it seemed like the aux was slightly lower on voltage. (.05V difference iirc..) Will have to disconnect and test again, but maybe that variation... -

Think all of our fins have that cracked gasket, definitely seems like water would seep in there, especially if parked downhill. Although I would expect some headliner stains, but maybe it drips along the wire or underside of roof... I had a headliner stain when the rear liftgate wiring boot...- mikez71

Ya got me!? It did say EGR in the Tech2 readyness monitor.. I'll try and check later and take a pic.. The paperwork from the smog station read "EGR and/or VVT" So I'm wondereing if it's just a VVT timing for emissions that replaced the EGR?- mikez71

It is hard to see, and I could feel down the ends of the cowl where water could runoff.. probably can't see in there without removing fender.. Hoping my leak was the little pinhole I found, but part of me thinks it was too small to be it.. Same wet area, driver floor, close to ebrake..- mikez71
