    If the ST239 turns out to be slightly too long, you can put a shim of sorts between the tank body and the strap. But I would think that you compared the old with the current new strap and the next new strap.

    I agree with you. The GMT400 trucks are solid trucks. My girls 1990 K2500 ext cab has 130k miles on it and is solid. Easy to work on too. I like the GMT800 trucks but the 2005 and 2006 years are the best, IMO. I am on @Shaggy other forum for GMT400 trucks and there are a lot of true blue hard...

    Because people do suck at maintenance, that is why I said every 15k miles. I personally run Mobil 1 full synthetic and do my oil changes every 4k miles, or sooner because I just want to. Most don't do things on their trucks like I do. See my build thread to see what I mean. IMO, not throwing...

    PCV is a maintenance item and they do get clogged and wear out. If you wait for the problem caused by that, well that is MONEY. I never wait till my DIC says I need to change engine oil.     Suggestions for removing frame ground bolt that spins but won't unscrew

    Gonna have to cut at least the nut out of there and then hopefully the bolt drops out. If not then drive the bolt out. Then use a through bolt nut and washer. Clean the ground and mount surface thoroughly before reinstall. Sounds like vehicle may have spent some time in a rust belt.
