I'm wondering if anyone might be aware of a good video walk-through for installation of the Bilstein B8 5100 front struts re-using OEM spring/spring perch? I've been looking for just such a thing but no luck. Trying to quickly decide whether I want to attempt the install myself or pay a shop to...
Additionally I'm trying to decide what to do for the suspension itself. Per @swathdiver (see his response above) I already have the OEM Z71 springs due to my vehicle being equipped with the ZW7 "Premium Smooth Ride Suspension" setup. It doesn't sound as though I need to get into the Moog spring...
Now that I've installed the two OEM shields I'm wondering if there are any additional skid plate options to protect the following areas:
1) Oil pan & Y-pipe (seems rather exposed)?
2) Replacement for the plastic accessory belt splash shield (honestly the mechanical bits are so high up I'm not...
I installed the front differential skid plate (p/n: 20944322) and the transfer case skid plate (p/n: 20922755) this evening. Used one of the OEM fasteners that attached the plastic splash shield which protects the accessory belts (immediately behind the front bumper) to thread the bolt holes (8...
And so the acquisition phase of the project continues. I ordered the 2 skid plates (Amazon of all places) for the front differential (p/n: 20944322) and the transfer case (p/n: 20922755). I'm holding off on purchasing the OEM screws (p/n: 11518341) as I intend to thread the holes with another...

I recently purchased a very well kept 2014 Yukon XL with really nothing in the way of issues besides some worn climate control buttons (repaired via an inexpensive Amazon sticker kit) and the dreaded broken door pull / door handle. I read some threads and watched some videos on this but I kept...
Let me start with a thank you to all who have responded for your input...your replies have been both helpful and informative. I do have some follow-up questions if you'll indulge me.
1.) @Jhwhite05 - Can you please offer more insight as to the ride quality (as compared to stock) of your setup...
A brief introduction to kick things off. I'm located in NE Ohio and am new to both the forum and to Yukon ownership, having purchased an extremely well kept 2014 Yukon XL SLT 1500 4x4 just over a month ago which is bone stock besides a recently installed Sony stereo to replace the stock...
