Agree with the previous responses. Definitely need a tune. I’d highly recommend @BlackBearPerf.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

$160 to RA, as this appears to be the cheapest “OE” part. We will see. The jungle website reviews had quite a few folks reporting different attachment methods, and needing to hit the HW store. So, hopefully the RA version is an actual OE part.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

It is indeed. Thank you for that part number! I’ll try Rockauto, as well as that jungle website, to see what I come up with. I was hoping for OEM, but if it’s even available, I’m sure it’s ridiculous.

    Absolutely it does.

If that’s on dry pavement, it sounds pretty normal to me.

Is this happening all the time? while turning? With the suspension articulating?

What do you think of the “water based solvent” parts washers?

That’s one HUGE benefit of the water based stuff. It’s not flammable. And, I’m not sure how you’d dispose of it.. I do have a rather aggressive red ant population out here however.. :flamingdevil:

What do you think of the “water based solvent” parts washers?

Yes, you can use any “water based” solvents. Purple power would be in that list. It’s a 20 gallon, so I believe you’d need around 12 to fill to the correct level.

    Ceramic coating for wheels

Absolutely agree on the non-touchless washes. Might as well run som 80 grit all over your rig!! And unfortunately, there are very few touchless washes near me in Tyler. Just one that’s halfway decent, and it doesn’t do a good job. I’ll admit, it’s made it much harder to keep my Yukon clean, like...

My ‘03 is like this as well. It’s a bit annoying, especially considering how loud my exhaust is with these PRC heads, but I just live with it. Not a big deal.

Sorry you’re having these issues. Mine went together perfectly. No hardware problems whatsoever. I wonder when they started farming out the hardware..?

Agree. There are a lot of local shops who do this, and then you have (hopefully) a solid warranty, and actual shop to get it exchanged if needed. If you have a few local, I’d ask around for who’s been in business for a long time.

    Alternator

Unfortunately, I can agree. I bought an OEM reman unit from Summit, matched my exact existing model, and it failed within 1-2 months. Thankfully, Summit did right by me, and replaced it under warranty. In the meantime, I bought the second cheapest one offered by Advance Auto for my rig, and...

I’d go with the AC Delco OEM if you can. Or, are you wanting to upgrade output?

What do you think of the “water based solvent” parts washers?

Ok, I re-read the post you provided. Thank you. These are definitely not cheap! lol. I am not seeing anything looking around that uses the “real” solvents anymore. Perhaps another victim of EPA “guidelines”?
