    Tail Dragging

If I, as a German, saw such cars at a gas station, I would stick the card of my workshop under the windshield wiper. But then again, I understand these guys. if you drive an American truck, which, compared to an overengineered German car, rarely breaks down seriously, then that's exactly...

    Lock of rear door failed

That was very useful information and I will look today, if I can remove the plastic cover to come to the lock system. I don't think that's the actuator in my case, because I can open the glass part without any problem. Probably there is something between the lock and the hook.

    Lock of rear door failed

I tried to open my rear door or hatchback today but it failed. I can pull the handle but it will not unlock. When i unlock the lock with the central locking, it feels like resistance, but it doesn't unlock. When i lock the car the lever has no resistance, so it doesn't seem to be a problem...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Do you mean the hold down bracket of the transmission oil cooler line? That is only mounted with the small screw you can remove and afterward tighten it again. It is a little bit narrow to work there, but possible. Yes I had no torque for the two long screws, but due to experience my magic hands...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Not a big problem if you have a lift and a little bit experience. I think I need about two hours. You must drain the oil. Then disassemble the steel bar under the oil pan with 4 screws. Then lose 4 screws at the differential to lower that, to have enough space to remove the oil pan. Then remove...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Today I changed the o-ring of my oil pump. Therefore and to clean the engine as well I drove to the fuel station open my hood and tanked one liter diesel in my engine, drove half an hour and then flushed the oil. The people at the fuel station really looked at me with a strange look...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Good luck... I guess before you first start the engine, you let it crank first without fuel pump relais, to make sure that oil is everywhere where it should be?

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I did the switches of the steering wheel once with LEDs, but that was absolutely nothing I liked because the light color was quite different to the other lamps and the dimming was totally different, so I changed that back to bulbs again. I have my light mostly dimed darker so I don't think I get...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

It's really not a problem to fix that. The Climate Control is disassembled in ten minutes. And the soldiering is no problem, if you have a good solder station and are a little bit experienced in soldering.

2003 Denali while hard acceleration driver side tire pulling hard

I would check the two upper wishbone bolts on the frame. If they are not really tightened, it may be that when force is applied to the suspension i.e. in corners or when accelerating they blow up in their adjustment range and then you have this phenomenon. Especially when the plastic retainers...

    Broken Lower Control Arm Mount

I would weld that too. You need someone how know how to weld, but a welded connection is stronger that the material itself. And the manufacturer welded that too. And they don't harden that after welding.

Hello, I have a 06 Escalade and on the left side the Blinker integrated in the mirror glass ist not working anymore. My mirror is heated and has the dimming function. These mirror glasses are not available or extremely expensive. Has anyone an idea how to repair the Blinker itself or is it...

2008 GMC YUKON HYBRID Transmission/from AZ

Need Information to repair rear Ac which was disabled by previous owner

I am so glad that i did that work. First of all, now when i start the car i have direct cooling, before i thought that the AC is somewhat sluggish. And second now the control is very good. I have the feeling that the controls are much better now. Before, it felt like whether the control...

    Air ride

An Yucon 03 with air-ride has front air-ride dampers? Are you sure? Even the Escalade hast only air-ride in the back as level control. It can be confusing, because the GMT has torsion bars in the front instead of springs. I guess you have magnetic ride, which is combined with air-ride, when...

2006 Tahoe/AC charged but Compressor not turning

Are you sure that the AC was not stop cooling when you switched off the AC? I takes some time until it stops blowing cool air, after you switch of the system. If your ac will not switch off when you disengage I can only imagine that your magnetic clutch or the related relais stucks. I've seen...

    Safely long-haul towing with a 2006 Z71 Tahoe

That is correct, in case of the automatic transmission, it should help to get the transmission fast on operating temperature, by exchange Temperatur with the engine coolant. There is not much cooling, except the temperature ist above water temperature. But the cooling surface is far too small to...

And like the Jamaica people say: Rain is liquid sun.
