Anyone have any recommendations on kits to clean the evaporator coils?

i've used this, jam the tubing up the drain and spray, I also opened up the inlet side and used vacuum/compressed air/nylon brush

Driving back from work Thursday evening, I heard a scraping/high freq wine on the driver side rear wheel. So on Friday, I jacked up the rear and pulled the tire. Took the caliper off and discovered the brake hardware failed and slid towards the disk. Caught it early so no damage to the disk. However, the hardware needed to be replaced and since I needed to do that I replaced the brake pads. Since I had it jacked up, I decided to pull the disk and adjust my parking brake (finally). Wow, I forgot how hard it was to get those two 18mm bolts out. And since I was that much into it, I ended flushing the brake fluid with my home made brake bleeder. Started with the passenger side back wheel, drivers side back wheel, passenger side front wheel and finally driver side front wheel. 3 quarts of new brake fluid and all the old nasty brake fluid has been replaced.

Got all it ready to drop back in. Just need a hand from my buddy who helped me pull it. Came down with a bad stomach bug and I don't have it in me to try it alone. Don't mind the dirty from cover, the seal is new and all gaskets

Changed out the passenger front brake hose that was cracked. I think it's safe to say the fluid is original. The pedal feels a little better now. Thanks @vietvet for some assistance.

At least pull that temp sensor before you go to drop it in. Things move out of their way to hit those and break 'em.

I also added the shorty tsp headers on it before she went in. We took our time and had the hoisy literally dropping centimeters while we both guided each side. Disconnected heater hosed to keep them from being damaged or hung up on something.

Received the K5L fans in a day and a half. Cleaned them up, installed, tested with Tech 2. Will drive it later and keep an eye on voltage. Haven’t put the Mechman in.

There’s a slight difference in the housings, the K5L have a couple spots for something to bolt into it on the right side or to bolt to the radiator. Little bit of contact with the throttle body coolant hose. I’ll keep an eye on it.

Hit mid 90* temps over the weekend and got to see these beast fans in action. The 700w draw is too much for my comfort on the 145a alternator when on high speed. Looking around, there is a 160a available in the model these fans came from (2009 Sub). It seems logical that on a K5L vehicle, it might also have the 160a.

Ordered the hydraulic crimper, some battery bolts, lugs, and 1/0 OFC so I can put the Mechman 240a in.

Got a little more serious about figuring out my left front clunk when turning. Found a toe adjustment nut not even finger tight on the left side tie rod.

Didn't fix the clunk. Might be time for tie rod ends - been at least 10 years. Now, do I go full send on some Rare Parts fancy ones? I don't off-road my RWD so probably wouldn't realize the benefit, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
