Growing up doesn't have to suck

All of these companies manufacture a handful of shock lengths, and just change the ends to fit the application. This is where researching valving profiles comes into play, and knowing the shocks' effective range. Atomic Fab was a huge help with the Viking shocks, and you can order them by length...

I didn’t say “enthusiasts”, I just said “most people”.

Right front wheel protrudes further than left?

For like…the 5th time: the RF tire scrubs the fender, the LF does not.

Growing up doesn't have to suck

what you’re correcting with the drop brackets is the geometry during the compression stroke and rebound stroke. They are, in fact, important. You also have to factor that a shock has a working “range”. It isn’t effective through its entire range of motion. If you start a shock 50% compressed...

Growing up doesn't have to suck

Do me a flavor and measure from the center of your hub to your fender arch. I wanna see how comparable our drops are

Right front wheel protrudes further than left?

I see what you mean, now. I'll drop the rotors this weekend and check their thickness
  10. KidWgn

Right front wheel protrudes further than left?

Huh? The studs sticking out from the rotor would only affect thread protrusion from the mounting surface (the hub face of the rotor). This wouldn't affect the wheel's protrusion. Now, the entire hub/axle being shifted too far to the right? That's a thought.

Y’all ain’t gonna believe this. Took a drive and found the bolt, sleeve, and one spacer spread across ~1.5 miles. Had to fabricate a spacer until Spohn gets me one. It ain’t pretty, but it’ll do. Blue loctite is on today’s menu for sure.

Good news though! The guy I traded them to ended up hating the 24's, so I traded him my stock LTZ 20's, the MT's that were on his 22's, and $300 to get my $24's back. For reference. I left my LTZ 20's in my driveway for the last year, hoping someone would steal them. I was going to let the tire...
