There are just some days I wish I didn't turn wrenches

Speaking of... I found the coolest tool. Its a wobble extension, of sorts. It cant handle large amounts of torque. But its a great tool for working in tight dashboard areas.. Like blend door actuators, or hidden inside fender bolts. The ones where you can only get one click on your ratchet...

The 2002 has a TIPM, just different, but its a completely different variant than the latter ones. In fact the 2002 and 2003.5 are year specific, and only fit those years.

Also, 2004 is a TIPM year, and the 2002 is not. Its easier to swap the engine for the correct one.

There are just some days I wish I didn't turn wrenches

Being its a 2014, is the last year Ford still had a stake in them. Interior electronics. Engine electronics. Exhaust If memory serves, the oil pan drain plug had weak threads, and was a known spot for oil drips. The transmission could be an issue too, depending if it had the Ford Transmission...

SOLVED: Need to drop the fuel tank but it is currently 80% full

You can use a tool to separate the supply line at the fuel rail, and then put a hose on that, and run it to another car or gas can, and drain the tank. Once thats all setup, you run a hot wire to the fuse for the fuel pump, and pump away! I did this recently on a truck I sent to auction.

I think you might need to do a crankshaft correlation relearn, but am not quite sure on the 4.2. Mooseman over on the other board would be the person to ask.

If these are OEM injectors, this is a hell of a deal... Can someone take a look and verify? https://www.ebay.com/itm/305801766718?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=etjd9a0mtiq&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=7_EDJw2QRzq&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Land for sale in Rio Rico Arizona

This is land that is tied to my dads estate, who died nearly 6 years ago, and the estate cannot be closed until the land is sold. My brothers, and myself, have no interest in the land, as we live in Colorado, Missouri, Oregon, and Illinois. But it does have value. 199 Bosque Ct, Rio Rico, AZ...

    HELP - Intermittent Electrical Issues

Sounds like either a ignition switch has gone south, or a faulty ground. The ignition switch is a common failure, and easy to replace. I dont recommend using a Dorman, try to find a ACDelco, or a Delphi branded.

Would you keep your existing truck or get a new one in this situation?

There is nothing from the "Big 3" that I would buy that isnt a diesel... Especially ANYTHING from Mopar/Stellantis. You are in a tough situation. But you do have a big warranty. But how much warm and fuzzies is that going to give you when you are on a long trip, with your family? Its all going...

    09 escalade hybrid trans question

You bought 8 quarts, and I think you are going to need 15-17 quarts. You should be able to buy what you need from your local parts store. Most use the Dex6 Valvoline Max-Life, as it meats all the specs, and is cheaper than the OEM fluid. Before you start, since you already drained it... Its a...

6.6 Gas L8T Engine Swap in 2015 Suburban

Start a new thread for the 1.6 Diesel.. I can tell you they are good down low, but run out of steam fairly quickly. They can be had for fairly cheap too.

    Saved from scrap

My last car that made the converters glow red, it was not the converters, but the ECM Driver was double pulsing the injectors, once when it was supposed to, and once 180* out, so it was dumping raw fuel into the exhaust. Replaced the ECM, and that solved the problem... And increased my fuel...
