    Random just means it hasnt defined the cylinder its missing from yet, one of the downfalls of a v shaped engine is that 2 cylinders fire almost at the same time. So it needs to find the specific miss.

    Likely one of the top 5 worst engines ever built. Amazingly, 3 of the top 5 are all Ford Ecoboost engines. Worked on a 1.5 Ford Fusion Ecoboost the other day. Its no better than that 1.6.

    Other than the suggestion I made above, thats all I can suggest. With it stopping, makes me think its a power/ground issue.

    Need to check for voltage, voltage drop, current, etc, at the plug for the rear wiper. Just because it shows voltage, doesnt mean it can carry the current. You make no mention of what vehicle this is, so I would start by checking the wiring going from the main body of the truck, to the tail...

    On my 2006 Saab, they lasted to 161911 before the lifter on cylinder 1 died. I replaced only the lifters on that cylinder, and its still going with its now new owner.

    WHAT! You didnt wash the engine bay! Your fired! LOL I had one guy complain that I didnt wash his engine bay when I had the engine out. I asked him if he wanted me to do a frame off restoration while I was in there. He didnt think it was funny. I sure did.

    There is a local to me union shop that pays Mechanics 54-70 an hour. They dont have service writers. Tesla pays horrible.. At about 24 an hour, for technicians!
