What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I need to learn how to do that. My headlights plastic could use some love from the millions of bugs and little rocks that have hit them.

    37s? Inconceivable!

I think you'll be just fine if you trim that part of the air dam and can always drive straight and never have to turn the wheel! (Jokes aside, the real problem isn't fitting it in the wheel well, it's turning the wheel and making contact with the knuckle. Let alone when going over bumps or dips...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yeah that's too bad. I've trailered my Camaro over 4500 miles total since I've had this Tahoe, across multiple states and mountain ranges, and it has never had vibration issues. That being said, maybe the type of trailer matters? I've never used a fancy little lightweight aluminum trailer, only...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Used my Tahoe to trailer my Camaro from the Central Coast of California to Scottsdale, AZ. Pulled nice and easy up some grades and through the desert heat on interstate 10. I'm always impressed with this little 5.3 and how comfortably it can tow a 3900lb Camaro and 2200lb uhaul trailer.

    LED headlight success?

If a bulb goes out, or isn't functioning properly, the driver information center on your cluster will display a message about a light failure. But no check engine light. And when it comes to things like lights and brakes, buy once cry once is my answer. Don't go cheap.

TRT, Tow Rig Tuesday...show what ya tow

I've trailered my Camaro ~3500 miles from southern california to the PNW and back.

Buzzing motor type sound when first unlocking truck

As mentioned above, it’s the fuel pump priming. I don’t have power running boards. It makes that sound every time I wake it up by clicking lock or unlock on my key fob.

I wonder how close I can get to my Max tow limit on really steep grade????

I’ve pulled 6200lbs up and over the grapevine no problem in my 2019 4x4 with the 5.3 Just take it slow and watch the transmission temp. Fill the pill on the trans if you haven’t already, it’ll help keep things cool.

    Tow hook install?

If your truck didn't come with tow-hooks then you'd need to buy the plastic insert that goes along the bottom of the front fascia near the tow hooks and fog lights. Unless you want to cut and have ugly giant holes with red tow hooks sticking out. 22936496...

Anyone here add spacers to widen the Tahoe stance ?

Also if your tires stick out past the fenders and you happen to hit a k rail center divider on the highway, chances are you’ll drive right up it and flip your truck. There’s a reason stadium trucks have their tires inside the fender. You want the fender to hit the wall, not the tire.

28.3 MPG on a recent trip in my 2018 Tahoe RST 6.2L 4x4

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe before a long road trip I could see pumping them up to 40psi cold. But for regular everyday driving, 35psi cold is where I'd like to be.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

But do you have the lane assist feature in your windshield that they would need to re-calibrate? And do you also have tires that are larger than a 265/65/18? Because that seems to be safelite's issue...

The lane assist in the windshield, sorry I should have been more specific.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Tried to have my windshield replaced by safelite today after a rock cracked the corner, but the guy showed up with a new OEM windshield that didn't have the blue strip along the top. So now they'll have to order that and re-schedule. He also said he couldn't recalibrate the lane assist because...

    Flush transmission mileage ?

You have to click over to the left using the steering wheel controls, then you can edit what screens you want to cycle through if you go down to “options” then “info pages”. There should be one for transmission oil temp that will have a check box next to it. Select that and then it'll become one...

2018 Tahoe RST AC Not working (yes another thread, but different story)

No ideas, just wanna say reading this is frustrating because I’ve been in those shoes many times chasing down an issue. Hope you get it resolved soon. Maybe take it to an a/c shop? Likely they could chase down the issue and you could still fix it yourself.

    Flush transmission mileage ?

Right I’m aware of the torque converter fluid etc After driving around for a bit and then doing the same pump and refill again. Then driving around and pump and refill then it’s essentially all new fluid..

    Flush transmission mileage ?

It's really easy to do yourself. What I've done is use a harbor freight hand pump with a tube down the trans fill tube to pump out whats in the pan. Then, just crawl underneath and unbolt the pan. Then slap in a new filter, bolt the pan back on, and fill it back up. (The pan doesn't come off...

Upgraded Transmission and Converter Options for 2018 5.3L Premier

Very nice, sounds like a fun car for half mile racing for sure. My Camaro is a 2013 with a LS3 with forged pistons, LSA blower, upper and lower pulley, E85 flex fuel twin pump fuel system, big custom grind cam, long tubes, intake etc Fun car for sure.

    Left front turn indicator failure

I appreciate it. I ended up just buying new from GM parts store. I’m very particular about new OEM parts for everything. I’m sanding it all down and painting it like I did this now broken one.

    Heated wheel instsll

Heated Steering Wheel PN: 84483796 Clock spring for 2018+ w/ heated steering wheel PN: 84186645 Look under the knee baluster and verify you have the female plug for the clock spring built in. Took about 45mins when following along with the...
