    Interior Cabin Temperature Regulation

@nova72 - any updates? I too have this same issue with running the heat in colder temperatures in my 2015 Tahoe LTZ. It actually gets really hot sometimes; we have opened the windows to let the cold air in just to bring the cabin temp down and somewhat comfortable again.

    Rancho QuickLift

Yes, you are correct that you DO NOT need the MRC delete; the z71 is passive suspension. If price is not a major issue, I would suggest Fox all the way. But seriously, that Bilstein kit is not a bad option either. But the Fox 2.0 Adj IFP coilovers are terrific IMO. I'm on my second pair of...

    Rancho QuickLift

@BlackBrud - the following link is for MRC delete kits; however, I wouldn't be surprised if you could buy from them w/out the MRC delete and/or find something similar out there... https://www.magdelete.com/collections/tahoe I would say Rancho over RC, but while you're doing the front I would...

Mid travel or long travel Yukon Xl?

@Mondaytown - applause to your commitment. Sounds like you're going to have a great build for your overlanding purposes. I've been hung up but wanting to reply to this thread. LOTS of good stuff going on here. I'm with others in the opinion that spending a little extra $ now will benefit you...

    Question for those on 35's

@rick1024 - I'm guessing not too many replies yet because there just aren't that many people running 35s out there. Pretty much requires a 6"+ lift... From my experience; I would agree with @olyelr regarding the bigger/heavier tires with the 6L80 trans. I would say that 3:42 gearing is...

Stick with OEM calipers or aftermarket??

I've seen red, yellow and black Chevrolet caliper covers. Anyone have thoughts on running those with OE calipers? Just a thought for our OP here...

    Stupid question about spacers

Forgot to mention the 6" BDS lift is spec'd for stock OE 20" wheels and 35x12.5s (some trimming may be required) The BDS kit includes front wheel well trimming instructions, if you decide that is needed to fit the tire/wheel combo. These instructions are actually available on their website if...

    Stupid question about spacers

I would first suggest calling RC and speaking with a tech regarding the specs on the 6" lift; in particular, the new front knuckles. I'm fairly confident that most of the crossmember full lift kits increase the track width 1-2" mainly due to new knuckles. A clue to this could also be the tie...

    Tire size recommendation.

I would suggest a tire diameter around 33" with the +2" level kit installed. 34" diameter would be pushing it and possibly rub on rear of FRONT wheel well. I think 285-295 is a nice width, especially given you're running the more aggressive tires. The 33" tires also save you on weight compared...

    Rear Hatch cleaning

I too, as I'm sure EVERY owner on the TYForum, has the problem of dripping water after a wash. Living in Maine I also get an unbelievable amount of muck thrown all over the back end. I've found the following to be the best solution to keeping it looking REALLY clean...at least for the first few...

Service Suspension notification on every start

@dbaudo1 - Yep, that pretty much looks like the exact same thing. I think you're probably 100% correct in that the OBD/USB cable is not specific to Xineering. However, their software is certainly proprietary. Unfortunately, I believe that our vehicles are prone to electrical...

I put ZR2 shocks on my Yukon - need advice

I had the same thoughts. The Rough Country Vertex product is VERY tempting. I mean, a RR coil-over with ride height increase for a bit more than Fox's 2.0s, right? After several weeks of going back and forth and speaking with a few 4x4 shops around...took my own advice. I went with my 3rd...

Service Suspension notification on every start

The Xineering scan tool is designed to plug into the OBDII port and a computer via USB port. The Xineering software can then be run to test/obtain values directly from your vehicle. Scanner: Software...

I put ZR2 shocks on my Yukon - need advice

@Favored - I personally think you are making a good decision; in the long run hopefully you will look back and think so too. Bravo I have spent more $ than I would have liked trying to get something to "work" instead of just doing it correct the first time. That's one major reason I ask...

I put ZR2 shocks on my Yukon - need advice

I understand that you were able to get the shocks at a fair price, but my primary question is, "Why?" What is your goal with this Yukon build? The ZR2 shocks are Chevy's answer to off-road racing. They are certainly a stiff ride. They already netted you 2-3" ride height increase. Don't...

    2020 Tahoe LT build

Looking great! Can you supply the full specs for the newly leveled ride please? ie: new parts, wheel and tire combo, etc. Or add to your signature line? I know you have parts posted, but one spot please. That would be great for me and others... I'm sure it's ridin' better than stock. On...
