I leveled the tahoe in my post above, in my garage on the floor with jack stands and a jack in probably less than two hours. Made absolutely no change in ride quality.
Well, here is a pic of my wifes rig. Only the front side windows were tinted, nothing else, and i believe it was 15%. Definitely not super dark, but honest its dark enough that you cant really see her driving it lol
I dont want to sound sexist, but its unusual for me to hear a women know so much about vehicles lol…so kudos to you!
If the kit you are putting on the tahoe is not “recommended” for it by the manufacturer then chances are the dealer won't put it on for you. Unless you know them really well or...
Sounds like you should have got the high country model lol
I would have to believe about 90% of the people out there with the chrome badging and window trim would be totally willing to trade you for the black ones.
I cant say much for rough country, good or bad, as i have never had a product of theirs personally. That being said, i am well aware of who they are and that they sell stuff on the cheaper end of the spectrum. And their products tend to be “cheaper” in general than many other companies out...
There are leveling and small lift kits out for mag ride.
The frame height is going to go up by the same amount the level/lift is within reason…unless its just the front leveled, then the back portion of frame will stay the same at the tires (and actually lower behind the tires).
My wifes last three full size gm suv’s have had 22’s and she gets around just fine all winter in northern michigan. Cant imagine going to 20’s or 18’s would make any noticeable difference.
Its not like you can just take your yukon there and get it done. And can you afford spending a couple hundred grand on a toy vehicle? Im sure thats what they are gonna be.
Well i looked online at pics (wife isnt around to look at her vehicle) and they do indeed have a coilover shock type setup out back as well. So i dont see why these wouldnt work.
I initially thought they just had regular coil springs and separate shocks…that does not look to be the case with...
Haaaaa i will be honest, i am not completely sure what is back there either. Didnt really even pay any attention when putting the leveling kit on my wifes ‘22 high country. Thought it was just a set of coils with separate shocks, but i will have to look.
As long as they are just messing with the front i would think that everything will be just fine. The air ride is just for the rear of the vehicle. MRC is in the rear AND the front.
