    Custom rear subs

I also wanted the same, something space saving to be able to haul if I needed. I found the perfect solution for me, I definitely would recommend it. I'm not going to win any SPL competitions by any means, but there is plenty of punch and good sound-quality bass from this sub. I could turn it up...

    2012 Tahoe SSV

Welcome to the board! Nice looking Tahoe, share some interior pics when you get a chance. I too have really high hours, I don't recall what mine says but can check later. Since my Tahoe was NC Highway Patrol, I already know it is going to have a massive amount of idle hours. Have no fear...

    After Market Headlights

Thanks to you though! I picked up several ideas from you, and you helped with some feedback/lessons leared too. Best part about forums! I've also been thinking of doing the same, I am not going to lie. Regards to the LED projectors.....

    After Market Headlights

Back to the OP, which seems to have went array without much feedback. You definitely have several options at a variety of costs and work. New OEM headlights will be pretty expensive, but I also have been successful with cheap Amazon knockoffs. That in itself is a super easy upgrade to old...

    2014 ppv tahoe

Did you find that tape measure in the surplus vehicle? If so it's probably garbage, those use fuzzy math. I'd go grab one from a big box store and measure again.

    Sooooooo, I bought a PPV ...

Lots of driveway choices for a week or so. Keeping my dad's '67 Nova SS while he gets some garage work done. Wish it was mine.

New Owner 2014 PPV from VA

Welcome, from central NC. Your PPV looks identical to mine in stock form! 100% get a Daskskin, fitment is unbelievable and one of the many things I did to my PPV that I would absolute do again if I got another one. I've got pics from that and everything else I've done, my build thread link is...

Aftermarket wheels on PPV. What size?

752SP is the part number for mine. I believe I've got probably 50k on this kit, zero regrets. https://www.belltech.com/belltech-front-and-rear-complete-kit-w-street-performance-shocks-752sp.html

Aftermarket wheels on PPV. What size?

The only thing different on your PPV than any other 2wd Tahoe are the rear springs, which are a bit shorter than non-PPV. You can put pretty much anything on there you see on any other Tahoe. My PPV is actually lowered 2"/3" with Belltech suspension, and I run 22" with 275/45 and don't rub at all.

PPV Police Wheels Lug Nuts Question

I'm disappointed. Usually we get to solicite DIC pics from newbies, but this one is only asking about other people's nuts.

Shops refusing to disassemble magneride strut

My god, I got PTSD looking at that setup. And I even can vouch I used a similar setup in my days as a BMW tech, but that style is a literal YOLO.....gigantic shrapnel grenade.

DSM lowering kit didn’t lower the back. I got a 2 and 2 inch lowering kit for my 2011 Tahoe.

Yup, because the front PPV struts/springs are the same across the board for all Tahoes (PPV/LS/LT/LTZ), only the rear springs are different for PPV.

    Which tuner to disable AFM?

Get into the HPT community and find a simple cleaned up tune for your transmission as well, it will make a tremendous difference in driveability. One of the biggest things my tuner did was remove the converter lock-up at lower speeds, which was almost always a brutal slap in my 6L80.

Door hard to close after new aftermarket weatherstrips

My driver's door seal looks like the mouth of a meth-head. What aftermarket source are you all using for your seals? At least those who are now content with how they are working after a few weeks.

    Auto headlight delete?

https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/sooooooo-i-bought-a-ppv.92147/post-1559833 I followed a DIY, basically just pull the detent spring out of headlight switch. It's super easy.

    2013 PPV tires

I had 255/65's last on my 17" PPV wheels, I'd personally go no shorter than that if you are looking for comfort. There is a pretty good variety of tire sizes/brands that folks are running here, I am sure you'll get some larger profiles than what I ran too.

Morimoto Bi-Xenon retrofit - Installation thread

I wouldn't say perfect. :Moon: They can fit, no doubt. I absolutely have zero regrets on my bi-xenon HID retrofit. But, the stock housings are very limited for adjustment for your fine tuning. You have to absolutely nail the projector alignment, and get the beam leveled 100% before you seal the...

Morimoto Bi-Xenon retrofit - Installation thread

Looks like the LUXX series is the way to go with LED. My Pro's were straight doodoo with halogen or LED.

Morimoto Bi-Xenon retrofit - Installation thread

One of the biggest things about GMT900's that sucks are the headlights. One adjustment with severly limited capabilities. If it has to be an option for you, despite what other's expereiences are I've read on the forums here, I've actually had really good luck with the Amazon OEM knockoffs, in...

Morimoto Bi-Xenon retrofit - Installation thread

I had the Pro series. The built quality was good, although it was a tad weird having the lenses 'bubble' out, but that was needed for how they mounted the projectors. I used high quality LED's, and the light performance was piss poor. Honestly it was barely better than the stock halogen setup...
