    Some make it a long time before they crack. Mine lasted until last spring when I ran down and extremely washboarded road on a really hot day. It cracked by the airbag corner. I have since replaced it.

    I like geese! Anyway, yeah the defenders are good but Duratracks would outdo them in the mud and snow for sure. Then theres the grapplers and the Wildpeaks and… You are right to ask what the intended use is.

    Like I said earlier the only difference between the AWD and part time case is the passenger side output shaft with the AWD being solid and the part time having a disconnect. Running that differential engaged in itself will not cause an issue.

    Do you ever smell hot coolant but can’t find it? Some leaks evaporate before they drip. More in winter makes sense because the range of temperature change from cold to operating increases.     I have noted that many here will either swear by the OEM components or the Power Stop stuff. I noted that there are even slotted Delco rotors.

    You can also try pulling an air line and letting all the pressure out of the system before starting up. The compressor should adjust for that when you start up. The OE and Arnott compressors have a pressure sensor on them. Not sure if the Dorman unit does.
