    Tahoe 2024 GM Exhaust Upgrade

Correct, GMPP. I like it, it’s pretty tame but that’s what I wanted. I would say if you are a casual passenger and someone swapped the exhaust you might not even notice, maybe except under WOT. It’s definitely not obnoxious even under cold start-up. If you’re outside or behind the car it’s more...

    Tahoe 2024 GM Exhaust Upgrade

I think you are setting yourself up for massive disappointment if you think you’ll notice 11hp in a 400hp 5000+lb vehicle. That’s $300/hp for gains you couldn’t tell in a blind test and a gun to your head. I can’t speak to the non GMPP systems but when I have a luggage rack and use any throttle...

    2023 Tahoe/oil additives

Here’s a pro tip if you can’t decide. If it’s not in the owners manual, and the dealer profits from the upsell it’s probably not necessary. If it really did anything they would provide a warranty or back it up somehow.

Opinion: Upgrade to GM Perf. exhaust vs GM Perf. brakes?

If you’re not towing or racing the brakes are a total waste of money. You’ll never notice or realize the performance gains and if you ever have to replace pads or rotors they’re significantly more expensive.

    No Start 2021- Escalade

We need a crowd sourced directory of dealers like that who get you in and out fast like that in a pinch. I’d go way out of my way to buy a car from one that takes care of their customers.

6.2L Rough idle and poor low RPM response

But it doesn’t actually hesitate right? Trying to get you to identify a perceived problem (that it sounds rough) versus reality (it’s a modern engine doing modern engine stuff).

6.2L Rough idle and poor low RPM response

When you say rough idle, does it sound, feel, or run rough? Does it hesitate when accelerating?

    DFM disabler released

Right, makes sense if you think about your own scenario right? The engine is going to do “stuff” to keep the transmission from banging in and out of gears. The harder your speed up and slow down the more it’s attempting to prevent damage.

2023 yukon denali 6.2..what to do

Right, I was making an example not trying to defend a doctorate.

    DFM disabler released

It’s adjusting timing (torque management) to protect the transmission. Does it remotely effect driving the vehicle or just a nuance you notice?

2023 yukon denali 6.2..what to do

Modern cars are not engineered like they were 10+ years ago where slapping on exhaust and CAI got you 10% more power. It may be more effective to talk budget and desired gains. I’d bet you get more bang for buck getting a 91-93 octane tune from a reputable shop than anything else.

Actual Payloads on 23 and 24 Tahoe with Max TOW package

When you say payload is your concern more than towing it might help to elaborate on that a bit so we can help holistically. From what I read I’m assuming when you’re pulling the camper you’re planning on having the car packed full of people and stuff. You seem to have a good understanding of...

Whipple Supercharger w/ BTR stage 2 cam in Cali?

How many miles on the motor and what size Whipple? Depending on the blower size throwing that and a cam on a stock 150k+ mile bottom end may be asking for trouble before you ever do a smog test. Just my $.02.

Wife's 2022 Denali "No Key Detected" won't start -- with fix

Did you call the dealer and ask? I had the same thing happen when I disconnected the batter(ies) to do some work. I spent like 15 minutes just doing the same stuff you did trying in the cup holds. Had to go inside and do some other stuff nd came out later and I’d started right up. I don’t think...

Transmission Holding Lower Gear After Moderate to Hard Acceleration

Probably torque management kicking in to protect the transmission. When it holds the gear does it require a stab of the throttle to let go? If you just coast does it upshift on its own?

21’ Tahoe Tranny Fluid Flush vs Tranny fluid change and change filter

This. It’s hard for some folks to wrap their heads around, but unless you’re doing severe workloads your chances of causing a problem are generally higher than solving a problem that is yet to exist messing with it. Curious was a dealer that quoted that? Some I know of will even avoid doing it...

    Tahoe 2024 GM Exhaust Upgrade

No, it’s totally different. Dual mode will have a valve when you change in and out of sport mode. Yours should be considerably louder when in sport if you have it. If you have that I would not expect any of the OEM aftermarket options to sound louder or perform better. If yours does not...

    Tahoe 2024 GM Exhaust Upgrade

This was clarified in on of the many threads about the 6.2 performance exhaust conversations. Do you have it yet? I thought the 2024+ with the 6.2 all came with the dual mode exhaust.

Replacing cheap Bose speakers 2022 RST Tahoe

You might want to try searching first, this gets asked over and over. Modern sound systems and speakers are not as easy to just swap out speakers especially on the upper ranges with 3rd party speakers and amps. Suggest you try Crutchfield or take it to a sound shop.

    Does a 2024 Z51 with 6.2 require premium fuel?

Why do people say stuff like this? I drive every day without a seat belt, I haven’t died yet… Just like the premium fuel, the seatbelt is recommended in the event of a litany of potentially bad scenarios. Just because it worked for you doesn’t mean it’s gospel.
