Hey guys so the new refreshed suburban and tahoe have dropped but alas no yukon/yukon xl so far.
When do yall think it's happening ?
Any predictions ?
My predictions is that it will have a front end similar to sierra ev. And I feel like the interior will follow the sierra ev as well. Part...
The duramax 3.0 has 100k warranty. Guess Cafe and less durability don't apply to it? Or wierd gadgets to squeeze out every last mpg for ratings ?
Also the initial 100k warranty wasn't the norm either. They did that to increase demand. Experiment didn't work. Old gm prior didn't have the long...
Absolutely they have. Base tahoes? They are reasonable. Base yukon ? Reasonable. But once the options start piling on they reach really high. But they are also really on their own. The wagoner is questionable in terms of resale and reliability. The expedition looks basic with questionable...
Harley? Naw man. Yamaha for me. I have a few suzukies and kawasakis too.
Only Harley I'd ever consider would be a Vrod but they discontinued them and people these days want too much.
Dude you won't win against the advocates of the old stuff. The old stuff is junk compared to new and that holds true with any brand. I the old gm stuff was terrible.
Another thing. I hate anything that isn't obd2. I want data. I don't like guessing. Obd1 and older sucks. Carbs suck.
Amen.
We make money here too and if I made 500k a year it wouldn't take much time at all to 'retire'.
For me and mine we live in the present. I loathe thinking about enjoying my life when I'm on deaths door. Would rather do it now. But obviously still responsibly.
65 scares me lol. 55 does...
Your assuming the markets/your investments will pay. There is no guarantee of that. Ask the people that retired during a financial crisis which seem to happen more than once in a lifetime these days lol.
And some may never even live that long. Has to be a balance.
Absolutely. Be debt free. That's the key. Retirement accounts are great assuming the market works in your favor when you retire.
I'm all about living it to the fullest. I know plenty who never did and never get to enjoy the fruits of their work.
Lz0 has been in the trucks for a little while now. So bugs should be worked out especially since it's not much different than lm2.
I am eagerly anticipating the yukon refresh and will most likely switch from our 23 yukon.
Past few years if you bought right you could make money/drive your car for free (no depreciation even when trading)
Many people have no idea when buying and get hosed with markups and fees.
For me and my family we travel a lot and spend a lot of time in our family vehicle so we want safety...
Just be advised that most rentals get driven hard and put up wet. No one babies a rental. The companies take care of them and usually abandon them before the bumper to bumper is out. Many have body work and check interior closely for damage.
Let's be real. No one is buying these because they are affordable. I need capability (towing) and space. I also want efficiency (diesel). The sequoia 3rd row is crap as is cargo area so moved to the diesel GM. Wife loves it. Probably get a face-lift XL diesel.
It's safe. It's reliable. It has...
Fishing line and a heat gun go along ways to remove emblems. Just don't get too close with the heat so you don't cook things. A little goes a long way.
If it rains and I pull into a jobsite that has gravel I use it to prevent unnecessary chaos. It's my wife's car so anytime she's in something slippery it's easier for her to twist a knob and roll out especially with the kiddos asleep.
The 10 speed auto problems is all over the forums ? Can you show me? Cuz I haven't seen any widespread issues with it. 10 speed is robust. The 8 speed was garbage.
I'm not convincing you. If you hate it sell it.
A coolant hose ? A sensor ? A coolant pump? An exhaust leak they can't fix?
Dude that's child's play. That is all stuff that takes no time to fix.
I've worked warranty for gm. The shit I've seen makes me laugh at what your describing.
Break...
