    This is first time I have ever used Royal Purple only because it was on sale. Its different because it is in fact purple. Not sure what it looks like with thousands of miles on it and never will because I change oil every 2500 mi no matter how much it costs. Fuel vapor dilutes oil.

    Every oil has detergent in it to some degree except Non detergent oil.

    If you are ever in a situation where a freeway or highway was shut down for an emergency and traffic was completely stopped or just crawling along at really slow stop and go speeds you may have a cooling issue.

    Funny you ask. I replaced my water pump a few years ago in November and decided not to put the fan or the shroud back on for a few days while I ''check for leaks'' I used a Zip Tie to help support the upper Radiator hose so I could leave the shroud off. I had the truck running half in the garage...

    Sounds like you park your truck outside at night? You have to invest in a good alarm system. All this expensive Audio creates security issues that everyone has to deal with. Your wheels and tires attract attention too.

    I rented a 5.0 Mustang while on vacation and drove out to L.A.in 1990. Coming from the upper midwest it was a real challenge driving on six lane freeways but a blast looking at all the old cars and trucks that were totally rust free.
