    2019 A6 trans question

Be wary of convertor failure...sounds like the lockup releasing late. That sound happen at throttle input of zero or brake application

    Fabtech 6” and uniball uca

i dont think that is correct...the ARM MATERIAL indicates which ball joint size the vehicle has... if you have steel arm knuckles with alum arms...the joint size could be wrong...or vise versa you need to look up the specifics of the ball joint stud size.

2017 Tahoe LT -left turn signal upper 4 bulbs out?

fuse issue i would think would take out all rear or all on the circuit. more than likely a connection issues in the rear of the light panel. i want to say that the boards in these years are known for failures.

    HID to LED conversion

may i ask why ? the HOD is a superior light for output and range. maybe look to upgrade the bulb. my 17 had projectors with standard bulbs...i did upgrade to LED for the sake of ease, but would prefer the HID

    06 Z71 Tahoe 2wd - 5.5” front 3.5” rear - 35s

i would just have a LONGER BAR fabricated. but remember, higher also means the axle moves forward due to arm angle, as well as to the side. you are getting closer to the range that a custom built rear arm and panhard would be much easier. https://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/4LINK-KITS.html...

    Fabtech 6” and uniball uca

i recall, in most cases...the ARM ISSUE is at the ball joint, not the mounting at the frame. i recall seeing a list that indicates what years had which, with ball joint sizes. the knuckle may be able to have a slight reaming if your joints are larger, but my guess would be the aluminum arm will...

    questions on stall converter

so, slightly off topic of the convertor, but it may help others who are considering...at one time i was not a fan of throttle boosters, but since tuning my 17 burb, one of the biggest complaints i had was lack of movement from a stop. i do have my throttle increased by roughly 12%, thus making...

    questions on stall converter

it would depend on the vehicle. most larger cams warrant it, but after not driving mine for a while...it just seems less comfortable for cruising around. my other rides, a 3500-5500 convertor doesnt bother me. Just in my cruiser or daily, i could see where i would not like it. others may not...

To Performance "Chip" or not to "Chip"....

my diablo has the ability to do the following... TRANS TUNE ...Stock , Firm, Hard ( believe is how it was worded) it can also user select raised up shift pressures ( that also aids in when or how much feel you have) i currently run the firm tune, with most upshift pressures raised by 10% this...

    questions on stall converter

i fully understand how torque convertors work...but again...DAILY DRIVING LIGH TO LIGHT, is what i comment about. i have an older 1500 with a 425HP sbc, running a 22-2500 stall (L/U convertor), and i even get tired of that due to loud engine / exhaust note when running around town. highway is...

    questions on stall converter

i always question the choice of cams that people make....i understand the overall power your choice will make...but at what cost for drivability ??? that cam probably makes real power at way to high of an rpm (especially with that tire size) to be useful on the road. to get that cam into a good...

Cheap easy built my own 3-4” lift

you need to trim the lower valance wings ( go bye bye) what is your tire size ?? i have a 285/50/22 with a 2.5" front ( looks slightly more filled) thoughts on the Z71 coils ??? this is a mod i still want to do as we carry 6 people and bags regularly. i think the added spring rate will aid...

it is year dependent, use this VIN search and it will tell you https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/check-lookup/1GNSKHKCXHR301771 (This is my 17 Burb VIN, scroll down to ENGINE...it says E85 MAX, that is a flex fuel compatible engine) insert YOUR VIN in the upper right and decode away, very handy...
