I definitely did have it loaded a little tongue heavy.
That truck is around 2,700 lb and the trailer is around 3,500.
I'm honestly still surprised how well it pulled like that.
The empty trailer wasn't super noticeable. But I really should put all those engine parts I have sitting around on this...
Well, bought some more trash.
Borrowed my buddies trailer to grab it.
And temporarily storing the eyesore on his property.
Tongue weight was pretty good despite the squat. It actually rode better with all that weight over big bumps than when I'm not towing.
And the king shocks handled the bumps...

Wish I would have bought our '86 3/4 ton with the 454 and tailgate from my parents when they sold it. Definitely had no use for that gas guzzler, but it was one heck of a vehicle!
And would be fun nowadays, especially if I could register it somewhere with no smog.
Been driving her real nice this week. Average mpg has come up a half gallon. Lol can't remember exactly when I reset the gallons used, but it was 2-3 years ago I think.
Almost forgot to check my odometer. Always add a quart of oil 2500 after my oil change.
Checked it when I got to work, sure...
Amazon is not where you want to be looking for parts that actually fit your vehicle.
It's best to find the parts you actually want on something like RockAuto and then shop around for price and availability other places like Amazon if you don't like the price or slow shipping or what have you.
The front end is 3 in higher than stock.
The 33s are only a tiny bit bigger but yes definitely don't help.
I've got the truck towing mirrors on it, and the "border patrol bumper cut"
Plus hundreds of pounds of crap in the back at all times.
Oh, and e85 all the time.
Yeah, he's starting to drive it a little more than I used to. It pretty much used to just live in the garage. And he swapped engines in and out of it I don't know how many times over the years. No idea what's in it now.
He does still have the original v8, I can't remember what all has been done...
