It's really weird the chevys don't have fog lights and makes absolutely no sense to delete them. That's a real bummer IMO, I love a good set of fog lights. The ones that come on the gmc are really good too
At least you laughed cause I was in fact jokingly making that baller comment about yukons. Tahoe or yukon it doesn't matter, they're both glorified mini vans for yuppy soccer moms
Denali if you're looking for the perceived social status associated with owning a baller ride. Tahoe if you just want to drive a nice ride that nobody else really cares about :p
These have made a world of difference stopping the mud and crap the tires were shooting all over the side of our ride. They’re not stopping 100% of it but doing a really good job. Should have got these on day 1
I'd drive the wheels off a Rivian. I was watching some videos of them the other night and they are FAST!! Like really really fast. I'd rather have a lightning though cause they look a lot better IMO. Not a fan of EV's to be green I like them because they have some ridiculous performance that...
We had our lock when you walk away turned on for a bit and the mirrors folded every time. A simple quick push of the fob button or door button does it too. There’s no holding down buttons for seconds required
An article I read yesterday was saying those in the know are predicting diesel to be over $6/gal in most places by summer. Fuel prices always rise in the summer so this seems logical. It’s already $5.50 range lots of places I see locally.
Even with these prices if I were in the market for one...
This would not sit well with me one bit. It's so nice to remote start on a hot summer day and when you get in the vehicle is nice and cool after the AC has been running
Replacing parts will be your most expensive option for sure. I got a quote around $200 to paint my chrome slt grill all black but I opted for the oem black gmc grill with body colored surround and it cost $700 on sale, then I spent a couple hours installing it. Don't think there's a lot of...
A couple years back I rode in a friends escalade that had worn out/leaking mag ride shocks and it was by far the worst riding vehicle I've ever been in. Rough and bouncy, it was absolutely terrible so I'd say fixing your shocks is going to make a huge difference for sure. I also think the non...
I'd call it a very minor hesitation but nothing that actually seems like a problem. It's for sure more noticeable if you accelerate slowly (I do 99% of the time) but it's never bothered me. Other than that this 10 speed is butter smooth and you hardly notice it shifting through any of the gears...
I was reading an interesting article the other day about "cost savings" of buying a ford lightning vs a 3.5 ecoboost f150. They used an average of 15k miles driven per year and fuel prices in the mid $4 range vs the cost to charge the ev at home. According to their findings the increased...
That's a clever idea. I mostly keep mine in my pocket since you can basically do everything it has a button for without touching the fob but that's a good spot for it when not in pocket
And if you're comfortable maybe post the cost. Seems lot of folks are interested in going the chrome delete route and ask about pricing. I paid $1200 out the door for the vinyl and paint work and they had the vehicle for 3 days. OEM gmc grill was around $700 on sale and I installed it myself (I...
Let's see your pics after doing a chrome delete...
Got ours done last week after 8 months of ownership. Most the emblems were removed first week we had it. The grill is a factory gmc part that I installed a while back. Roof rack is painted and the rest is wrapped. Rear gmc logo I had sprayed...
I noticed gas prices took a bit of a jump the other day. Regular up to $4.85 and diesel up to $5.55 at the greedy shell station. Don’t see many vehicles getting fuel there these days
This seems crazy to me. I've been a backyard mechanic for about 20 years and have pulled many engines, transmissions and whatnot and to me pulling an engine is a massive undertaking compared to pulling a transmission. Lots of work involved with unhooking wires, emissions stuff, coolant hoses, AC...
I don't hear anything from our '21 but I could not eliminate belt noise from our '11 no matter what I tried. New belt, tensioner, belt spray etc...no change. Wasn't a squeal but more an annoying noise that was quite noticeable
Installed my weathertechs yesterday and it did not go as planned. I'm not sure what the deal is but the holes on the rears were not in the correct spot to easily be screwed on. I thought I was crazy at first but ended up having to drill out the middle holes into kind of an oval shape in order to...
I know you're probably talking more about the visual look of the rims and not tires but when you talk about filling out the wheel well you need to take tires into consideration too. If you compare the stock tires sizes a 275/60/r20 is a 33" tire and 275/50/r22 is a 32.8" tire so the 20" rim/tire...
Mostly because I didn’t want the gmc logo on the rear guards. I’ve had most the badges removed from our Yukon so to keep with that theme just wanted them plain.
As a bonus weathertech products are made in the USA where as many gm items sadly are not
