I had a look online and compared the clamps.
It is a Specialized tool that takes all of that key torsion torque.
No other way apart from the right way.

Is all back together.
I thought I had a G clamp that I could modify and use to wind the key up and release the adjustment plate.
Seems I lent it out and was never returned.
Do I need a proper clamp?
Can I use builders or woodworking clamp and knock the flat...

Got my aircon going yesterday after 2 years of no connection.
Had a repair done on the inlet manifold a couple of years ago and the mechanic bent the pins in the plug.
I finally succeeded in straightening the pins with it in place and We have cold air again!! :favorites37:
Could it be a vacuum leak? An air leak in the valley or a vacuum line disconnect .
The didn't take the distributor out and are 180° out or maybe a couple if lead positions out causing the miss.
Could be an easy fix.
