    Not sure with your transmission but in my DD a GM but not a truck. My understanding is by shifting in to 1st at a stop a different part of the valve body is used. This stops the slip for me. Mine is in need of a pressure solenoid. Hopefully someone that knows these transmission can way in if...

    There is/was a gas station 50 miles North of me that you could prepay up to 1,000 gallons of gas at the current price of the day. Not sure how they made money or if they are still in business. My best guess is it’s going up. Now I just need to learn how to make money off my guess.

    Try shifting into 1st when stopped and manually shift up. You could have a lazy pressure solenoid.

    The one on the left is for vehicles with plastic wheel covers. 96 Buick Century had those.
