Sounds like youve got a solid plan, and a few good options to choose from. Def have your head on right by keeping buying while all is seemingly in "limbo" i.e. cleaning up the block/painting etc etc, it may not...
(Poll "Brass Tacks" - Unlimited votes so you can pick "tone" and "setup")
On both the previous late model vehicles I have "done stuff" to, I have included Corsa Sport systems as part of the "stuff". Absolutely love the product all around.... sound, looks etc etc.
With my current vehicle (2012...
Color me jealous! Those are the ones I'm currently saving up for! They look awesome man!
I'm not a big chrome fan either, but I'm completely sold on those.
Did you get them in 20" or 22"?
And if you don't mind me asking, where'd you get them from and about how much did you shell out??
Also...
Furrealz!!?? Hah (I don't really talk like that). A buddy of mine used to work at the Ford wind tunnel here in Allen Park with the owner of this shop... Weren't friends or anything, just worked together... I personally havent heard any good or bad feedback on them, nothing at all actually... No...
yeah... livernois was $800-1000 just starting cost... guy was a bit of a dick to me on the phone too... so no thanks... I know theres a newer place in Livonia, probably more ford centered and not much feedback/rep to my knowledge...??? Damn, I sure miss the days when my buddy Kurt still ran...
Just a quick update:
- fuel mileage has gone up (significantly - when I'm not driving like a dick head of course).... incredible... I can't explain it, but it's awesome...
- P0171 and P0174 are rearing their ugly heads once in a great while on long idle-s, after some research it could be a low...
So I caught about an hour or so of downtime last night and knocked out running the vacuum line and wiring for the MAP sensor for the Interceptor gauge to read boost, that was the easy part, the difficult part was trying not to get frustrated setting it up and scaling it appropriately, once I...
Anytime!
Tonight I hope to find some time to carve out so I can wire up the 3.5 bar MAP sensor for my interceptor gauge and clean up some of the wiring under the hood... Finally was able to warsh some of the snow off...
- Just under $3,000 total investment (I purchased the blower used - and "rebuilt" it myself).
- Throttle response is better i suppose, never really noticed much of a lag or poor response prior though...
- still only spin/squak-s left front and right rear (however I have yet to romp around with...
Drive is incredibly smooth, the power comes on strong but smooth... +150 horse will wake up any beast lol! Definitely more advanced and evolved than my previous MP112 on my LQ9, loads of fun. Just wish the roads were less covered in snow and ice right now...
Thanks for all the positive feedback/comments doods! Been incredibly busy since the install so I have yet to write a follow-up on the install (issues ran into etc etc) for this thread... However I will say it's damn nice to hear that familiar whine again, truck pulls, accelerates, and hauls much...
The stars aligned and everything fell into place and not a minute too soon either, big ole snow storm this morning a couple hours after I finished the install! Write up to come soon when I have more time, for now, some teaser photos...

Yeah, I purchased the blower used... Factored in the cost of your guys' tune down the road when I pulley down sometime, even then (with the Purchase of both tunes) I'm still far far far ahead...
Yeah, they've been awesome dudes.. Will arrive Monday... Diablo maybe? don't remember them telling me exactly, but for some reason Diablo sounds familiar...?
Ugh... Yeah, couldn't really wait around, purchased a tuner with the stock magnuson tune pre loaded from SuperChargersOnline... They mentioned that I would be able to purchase a tune from you guys still and load it with this unit...
