AFM indicator

After doing a search, and finding no results (or perhaps I worded my search incorrectly), I have a question for the group. On my 2013 PPV, is there a visual indicator that AFM is working? Such as on the DIC? Or do I need the DIC switch installed ( it’s coming this week )? I know I have seen videos of later models where it actually shows a V4 on the display, but didn’t know if that was also supposed to be on our generation of models.

The reason I ask is because I have not seen any indicator, and was wondering if perhaps the department I purchased it from had in fact had it disabled.

Exactly right, you need to install DIC buttons.

Better to disable AFM, then you won't need to see which mode you're in!

Once you have the DIC you can scroll to INST ECON which shows realtime mpg. That screen also shows V4/V8 mode.

Thanks for the responses, I expect the DIC switch to be here around Wednesday this week, and maybe will have a chance to install over next weekend. Also, did pick up an AFM disabler to try before saving up for a Black Bear tune.
